That is why you can get the Turbo GT without the Weissach package, and get all the creature comforts without sacrifice. I will get that config, will be a badass 1000 hp machine with great balance. Will have as second taycan, as I love my 2020 turbo S.
I think they will have to put 2 motors on rear axle to make more power, as it will likely have over 1000hp like the Plaid and Sapphire. As a side note, the Mission X may have 4 motors, one per wheel. It will be interesting to see what the GT department has under their sleeve!
Hopefully it will be just like the cayenne turbo GT, with more power, better suspension and handling, while retaining all the comforts of the turbo s. I'm hoping it will be a 3 motor turbo S with 1200 hp to compete with the Lucid Sapphire and Tesla Plaid. We will find out in 2 days!
Going to be insane I'm sure, prelude to the Mission X technology on the supercar. I bet it will have 3 motors in it, maybe more battery reserve. GT department will work it's magic.
I would argue after owning multiple 911 turbo's that the Taycan has much more daily practicality with ability to seat 4, carry a few set of golf clubs, etc. I predict it will be well over 1000 hp and run the quarter in low 9's which will be in league with cars that cost millions. The turbo S...
Hopefully it will be as good as the Cayenne turbo GT, phenomenal vehicle. GT vehicles are incredible. I will order one if it what I'm expecting. It will be prelude to the mission X
Great info, thanks. On a turbo s with aero wheel 393 mile range, and with 21 mission e it loses 3 miles down to 390. Not bad considering it has the wider tires, no brainer to get wider rubber down to handle that power. New mission E wheel must be efficient
I am likely ordering the new gen turbo S and have a question about wheel selection. If you get 21 aero and select the all season option, then the tire width increases to the 265 and 305 combo, not the narrower stock size with 285 in back. In addition the 21 aero wheel is cast. I prefer the...
Appreciate the heads up. I will definitely drive in range mode most of the way, seems like my car gets around 250 of range. Will definitely fully charge in Trinidad.
Has anyone had experience driving to Phoenix on I-40? I am planning trip from Colorado Front range in Pueblo area to Phoenix, looking for any comments on EA station experiences along the way. Thanks
I had same issue after WMA5 update. (2020 Turbo S) Initially everything was great, but then lost connectivity several weeks later. Favorites didn't work, repeating software updates, then lost bluetooth and CarPlay connectivity. I ultimately had my connect module replaced all works great now.
On the Taycan probably not that useful as the seating position is low, and with the map setting for the center portion on the instrument cluster the speedo is very high. HUD is useful if seating is high and there is a large distance between the HUD and the gauges. Taycan it is so close with...
evanevery is correct. The homelink buttons should be on rear view mirror apparatus like other Porsche vehicles. I have similar situation where my garage has tight area for backing up where I need to go backwards, forward, backwards again, then forward to leave. I have to close out of camera...
Are you turning your car off before charging? If you don’t it will cause error after awhile, as I have personally learned. Must do that extra move as opposed to a Tesla
I would do a 3d printed mount that attaches to the lower part of the central display on the lower ledge. I had it done on my Radenso install in my cayenne, love it. Will do the same for the Taycan if my windshield mount doesn't work out.
