I have a build start date of 7/8. If it ends up falling into MY 23, I will likely cancel (so if anyone is looking for a nicely equipped CT4, one might become available... )

Won’t you be getting an MY23 with an August build anyway? I might be wrong, depending on the various delays, not sure

I spoke with Porsche Nottingham today. Nice Guy. He's confirmed that as it stands my build date is still listed as 01/07. And still expected to arrive with him on the 22/07. However he has said he's seeing delays on other models so expects mine will be delayed too. Just doesn't have a timescale yet. As soon as I know I'll post it on the forum. I'm basically writing off hope I'll have it before my planned holiday to Wales on the 15/08. Shite. I'll take the Audi.

Spoke to my salesman today as well. He hasn't heard anything about a battery fire from the internal message boards.

This is the northeast US.

So I'm going to bury my head in the sand and accept this as 100% incontrovertible fact.

Had an original build complete date of the 14th June, it was pushed to the 30th June which is 2 days away. I expect it to be delayed again..

My NJ dealer has not heard of this delay. My 'TYD' still shows a mid- September delivery

It is curious that it is mainly UK dealers reporting this. My CT4S is due to start build this week, dealer says there will be a delay, but hasn’t specified how long, neither has he refuted the 4 weeks that was reported on this forum. We shall see. Looking to register my car as a 72 plate, so 4 week delay would drop it at the dealer end Aug - result 🤞🏻 (I have been waiting for it since 6th Aug 2021).

I find it interesting as well - has anyone in US received news of this delay? My TYD still is the same (start build next week expected)

My TYD's estimated start of production date has past but it has not updated to in production.
