My PC was extremely convinced it's OTA. I can't believe an update that like would be possible for Porsche, so we have to wait until mid August for a definite answer. If it was an OTA-update the update would start with an O, like ONA5.
ANA6 isn't an OTA-update.
We will have to wait and see as you say.My PC was extremely convinced it's OTA. I can't believe an update that like would be possible for Porsche, so we have to wait until mid August for a definite answer.
As we expected, I called today to confirm they have what is needed for the recall tomorrow, and they don't. When they click in their system, there's no info yet for this campaign, so they asked me to check again in 2-3 weeks.Okay, it -is- showing on the customer-facing side. Awesome. /s
Honestly, it's good you all know that it exists, but until we receive our notification that a TI is available for this campaign, all we're going to be able to tell you is to go ahead and speak with your preferred PC about this and they will be kept abreast of when they can go ahead with the reprogramming. And to tell you the truth, with how busy literally every dealership I call is these days, by the time a slot opens for you to get your Taycan in, the instructions might very well be ready and the coding might have been distributed for your technician's use.
So, if you're seeing this on your portal, then your Service Advisor/Manager will be your best buddy on this once they get the relevant info. Until then, we don't recommend asking to have it applied.
Trust me, I'm anxiously awaiting this update as well. I have a few customers that could definitely use this campaign applied. Once I see the info hit our portal and I get the go ahead, I'm contracting them all with the good news.As we expected, I called today to confirm they have what is needed for the recall tomorrow, and they don't.
