Porsche changed the cable length to ~1 ft. With a revision. Good luck finding the long one (which radiated a lot of heat because the #10 gauge wire is too small).

If handy with electrical connections, turn off the breaker and rotate the receptacle (socket) so the ground pin is at the bottom. This will allow the Charger to be higher, the opposite of my installation:

Did that hanger-upper thingy you have the end of your charger hooked into - come with the PMCC? I didn't get one of those.

Nice! I didn't know this existed. If I can't re-install the outlet since it may require to do an entirely new run from the basement panel to the garage I'll go with an extension. Only concern is safety or loss of output if I introduce an extension...I'll have to research this bit thanks.
I have a 20 foot extension for my TESLA and did not make any difference. Bought the heavy duty cord and plug combo on a site that sells extensions for such things as welding equipment. No problem in over three years of use.

Yes, it came with the PMCC and is a Porsche part. It fits beautifully.
The silver hook in the middle Is a 3M double-sided tape fixture from almost any hardware store.

Edit: Our Oder did not include the Porsche Dock. The wall mount for the PMCC and hook for the J-1722 are apparently not included when you also order the Dock.

Yes that holder should have come with your charger bits & pieces. My car didn't come with the cloth bag so one was gotten from another car...

I didn’t get a cloth bag either. Any other accessories I might be missing?

You should get the mobile charger with J1772 connector cable, a high input current cord of your choosing ( 14-50 if you don't specify one) , a 115 V cord, bag, holder for the J1772 connector, two torx screws & torx wrench for input cable swap.

this is what came with my Taycan:

what came with North American vehicle as delivered?

I was delivered the following items when taking delivery of my 2020 North American Taycan Turbo
  1. part #9Y0.971.675.BL - Porsche Mobile Charge Connect unit
  2. part #7PP.971.676.BD - Porsche Mobile Charge Connect J-1772 25 foot cable ($0 at order time - highlyrecommended for most installs)
  3. part #7PP.971.678.ED- Porsche Mobile Charge Connect NEMA 14-50 supply cable - un-attached - this is the North American default unless you specify otherwise in your order
  4. part #7PP.971.678.CC - Porsche Mobile Charge Connect NEMA 5-15 supply cable - un-attached -
  5. *-star tool Allen wrench for attaching/detaching the supply cables to the PMCC
    1. *-star screw for attachment of the NEMA 14-50 cable - easily lost and very very small
    2. this tool appears to be fairly unique - I'd recommend not losing it - I've taped mine and the bag it came from to the inside of the Porsche Charging Dock enclosure.
  6. part #9Y0.860.811 - Porsche Mobile Charger Connect storage bag with zipper cover and two straps with carabiner attachments perfectly spaced for attachment in the rear trunk of the Taycan
  7. part #7PP.915.706.- Porsche Charging Dock (optional)
    1. 2 locking keys for the Charging Dock
  8. part #9Y0012003- Porsche Mobile Charge Connect - Operating Manual
  9. part #9Y0.012.701.A- Porsche Mobile Charge Connect - Installation Manual ROW
  10. part #9Y0.012.003.A - Porsche Mobile Charge Connect - Gebruiksaanwijzing
  11. part #9Y0012701 - Porsche Mobile Charge Connect - Installation Manual EU
My delivery items did _NOT_ include the PMCC "basic" mount - I believe this was excluded due to my order containing Porsche Charging Dock.

The one surprise, because this is unclear from the Porsche configurator, is the inclusion of the NEMA 5-15 supply cable (house hold outlet) - this means your Porsche is delivered to you with a single 240 volt supply cable as ordered (14-50, 6-50, 14-30, 6-30) and a 5-15 120 volt 12/15 amp cable.

@wmras in your install is your ground pin up or down? I want to mimic this set up. Thanks

In the US, ground pin at the top (up) is the normal install, and the direction in my install.

If the plug cable is connecting from above (like in a Porsche Dock installation) the ground pin must be at the bottom (down).

I'm picking up my car Saturday. In trying to be proactive I had an electrician come in and install a NEMA 14-50 with a 50A breaker on my panel before taking delivery of the car.

Not very smart of me...the NEMA 14-50 plug in my garage is installed 3 feet off the ground. Only to realize the charger needs the NEMA plug above it since in its proper orientation the cord that connects to the NEMA outlet is above the charger and also pretty damn short.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Looks like my only option is to have the outlet re-installed higher or not wall mount the PMCC (with the PMCC basic wall mount) and leave it on the floor!

I thought since the supply and car cable can be removed maybe they could be swapped top to bottom but it doesn't look that way.

Not very diligent on my part
Why can't you install the basic mount and the PMCC next to the NEMA 14-50 receptacle.
All my gear came inside a plastic bag

All of the items should have been contained in the zippered bag that is clipped to the tie down points in the trunk. It was that way in my prior Cayenne e-Hybrid too.

My NEMA 14-50 is 5 inches off the floor so the PMCC would be at an awkward height just off the ground. Electrician is coming back to re-install the outlet next week so problem solved. My fault for not getting the charger before the 14-50 installation.
