Team,

I've been working and working, but I"m too stupid.

has anyone found a way to:
  1. delete a charging timer via the PCM interface?
  2. delete a charging profile via the PCM interface?
I'm able to do it via the Web-UI on login.porsche.com?

but I haven't found a way to do it "in the car" via PCM

any help/tips would be appreciated

It is also a common UI element on the iPhone. Porsche probably borrowed this from them. If you are on Android, this may not be a familiar gesture. Happy this worked for you!!

IMHO: The best way to get the most out of the Porsche Software is NOT to use it...

Its NOT intuitive (as you know) and its riddled with bugs.

We ALL need to make sure Porsche knows this kind of crap is NOT acceptable!

OK - so instead of posting new thread, I will ask here: has anyone found a way to switch the touchscreen off for cleaning? I tried to power off from the vehicle start button, power off the PCM from the button on the screen, no luck. Every time I touch the screen with the cloth it restarts....

What if you remove the key from the vehicle? Nothing should turn on, right?

Important update - JUST IN!

- You'ld THINK that having no keys anywhere near the car would prevent this, right?

- You'ld think that no one would be able to turn on the PCM (Music) without having a key nearby, right?

Well, you'ld be WRONG! :(

I was installing my Radar detector a few minutes ago and the car was in the garage unlocked with no key anywhere near the vehicle. The key was literally on the other side of the house. I touched the console and SHAZAM! My music starts playing! I couldn't find anyway of changing the volume, changing the song, or turning it off (I was in the pass footwell and no where near the "start" button). Anyway, I just let it play.

Who thinks this is appropriate behavior? NO KEY ANYWHERE! Who writes this software?

So no luck with that approach either.... As I said before, have Porsche software guys rotate on Tesla campus, Tesla quality control people rotate at Porsche. Kind of summer interns....

Yes is a ghost playing the music, crazy software, you have to turn the car on to put down the volume.

I actually had to Google to find a YouTube video on how to delete my cell phone that I had added during my first test drive (to check out CarPlay, etc).

Maybe Porsche will add delete buttons via FoD subscription in the future.

Ha, had this same issue and googled it. Got to this thread. Now my OCD can be at peace that my extra profiles can be deleted.
