lol, why did they have that button on them, and did anyone ever press it to turn *off* the turbo?
When we used to build our own machines we never even bothered connecting the "turbo" lead to the motherboard so it did nothing. Exactly like the Turbo in my Taycan!
Remember LANs in basements... competing who had the fastest. 100Mhz? Suck on deez nuts - I've got 150 AND MMX!!!... "WOOOOOOW!!!! Framerate of >35 on Quake 1 unheard of - but you DID IT!!!!"

My reply is normally "It has the exact same amount of Turbo as my vaccuum - but longer range!".
