Both the previous and latest interfaces versions are 3.3.11.2. But the previous had a release date Sep 9th 2020 and the new one is Nov 10 2000.
See link in my previous post for an older screenshot of the versions which happens to be from the same car.
That looks like backwards compatible software...lol.

The radio mute appears to work now, although it’s very early days!!
Any feedback? Difference? New functions?
200hp more? ?
The radio appears to mute properly now. Early days though :CWL:

So the 2021 has options like active park assist. Is that available to the 2020 after this update? I see wireless CarPlay and intelligent lift being listed.

I can confirm the mute still has a mind if it’s own.
Also the satellite view on the map in the dash still doesn’t remember it was turned on.
The 3D parking view “hack” still works and everything else appears exactly as before.

So I’ll make the assumption that whatever was updated was done “under the hood”.
However, I suspect the MY20’s will see a big difference.

Thanks. I appreciate the update. What is the 3D parking view “hack”?

Has anyone in the UK with a MY20 car been invited to update? I was at dealer today getting some warranty work done and the service advisor said the bug update was only for MY21 cars currently.

My car (MY20) is in for the update.
The update was activated on friday so I'm one of the first in my country to get the update.
They'll install it on their own cars first to check for abnormalities.
Hope it'll fix the OTA-module issue without replacing it for the third time...

I’m booked on the 7th (April) on MY20 (June delivery) Taycan 4s. I rang for another issue which meant the car needed to be in the dealership for service and they said they needed the car for 2 days to complete an 8 hour software update.

According to the last time when they try to fix the OTA-module it took a week.
Now it's including software update and tire change.
Maybe Friday.
Sure I'll keep yall posted.

PS Got a Macan GTS this time.

FWIW: I took my car to the service center yesterday for the software update, arriving at 08:30.
the car apparently was not taken into the shop for the update to be applied, it has been noted that it is a 4-6 hour update.
there was no contact from the service dept. all day, so at 17:00 I called into my service advisor and got her voice mail, I texted and emailed the advisor, no response, finally I called into the service department directly spoke to someone there who said that they would contact me immediately and the advisor did respond via txt that the update was not complete and would be completed today.
fortunately they did give me a loaner car so there is little inconvenience on my part but this isn't the level of care that I thought I'd receive.
I just read on the forum about a suspension recall that went out last week, I will be calling the service department to see if they are aware of it and if they will implement the required service to satisfy the issues in the recall.

The first world problem of losing My Screen config has been resolved!

Traffic speed signs appear to pulsate when exceeding the limit stated (perhaps it always did that).

In summary, nada!

this kind of "premium" service seems to be the same all over the world :(
