The website still shows MY21, and base price still coming up as 79900. Did you order directly at the dealer and dealer told you that?Hi, New to the forum and looking forward to the discussions. I just ordered my 2022 RWD yesterday and already was told about the price increase. It was around $2800 from the base price on configuator.
Find a dealer who will give you the MY22 for the MY21 price. My dealer couldn’t give me a discount as they only get one or two allocations per month but they did give me a 22 for the same price and also a couple of other items as well as part of the discussionHas anyone been told they will now need to pay extra for their RWD model as a result of the price increase last week?

How does it work? if the configurator is still showing the 2021 prices, can they charge you extra for 2022?

Just noticed the increase.Has anyone been told they will now need to pay extra for their RWD model as a result of the price increase last week?
I placed an order last week and was charged the new 2022 price. Taycan 4 CTJust noticed the increase.
I assumed it was due to power increase as well, though that doesn’t seem to have happened.
I believe the 2022 4s base price has remained the same as far as I can tell.
Here are the reported changes I found on another forum:
• Configurator opens mid july
• Price increase on Taycan and Taycan CT 4
• Optimized front axle decoupling in range and normal mode
• New Sports Chrono display
• Auto regeneration stays if you change drive mode
• Cellular amplifier in phone dock disappears
• Windows/memory buttons will be in matte black
• Wired android auto
• Updated navigation interface
• Home screen will have 5 menus instead of 3
• Porsche Charging Planner optimizations
• Power folding mirrors forced option with surround view
• 19.2 kW charger is back and compatible with plug and charge
• Remote park assist
• 3D surround view with improved panning function
• Remote park assist - Rear cross traffic alter
• Remote park assist - Exit warning
• Aluminum pedals
• B-pillars in race tex
• Paint to sample
It already decouples (non RWD models) depending on circumstance and if going up / downhill - so a software tweak I suspect.
- Optimized front axle decoupling in range and normal mode - any idea of how much extra range it gives?
