It could still be bolted on parts - remember the hole in one of the test mules?

Besides, the test mules seem upright and bulky, very short and stubby - the dimensions for the Taycan are meant to be almost identical to the Audi E-Tron GT
Shhh...don't you know that we have CSI level experts here?!

If I have time this week I'll put the dark pic from the brochure over the mule in Corel Photopaint and see if there's a perfect fit.

There's 2 large differences I can see - you notice how the front fender curves over the wheel in the teaser, whereas it's straight in the mule? That's the largest one I can see yet.

Second one, more slight, but the rear end on the teaser seems much longer than on the mule, and you can clearly see the spoiler in another teaser pic, whereas it's just straight on the mule

Here's a shape to shape comparison of the pic released by Porsche (see page 1) and the latest mule pics.
Although the angle of the mule is slightly tilted, the overall shape looks identical.

Can you make a comparison of the teaser with the sideview of the Mission E?

That's why I said it's tilted.
Turn the mule more up and it'll align as it has the same curves.

Even if you tilt the image, the mule's front fender still looks straight where it meets the A-pillar. Whereas the teaser shows a car where the fender is curved somewhat over the wheel, which will only get more pronounced as you move the camera lower

Agree but with the pic of the Mission E it looks like that too...

The front fender curve over the wheelarches (if you tilt the Mission E upwards) is almost the exact same, the front end is a little stubbier than the Mission E, the rear end maybe the spoiler isn't quite so prounounced, but is still there

Thanks for the photo Granola! This is actually a very good photo

This illustrates the point I've been trying to make since day one, look how similar the silhouettes are - the Mission E concept and the official photo of the production Taycan. It looks eerily similar to the concept. The Mission E is inlaid upon the production Taycan, see how the silhouettes match almost identical
