Yes - that is how I read it too - so if the HV battery ages and provides less range, that is outside the scope of the Porsche Extended warranty, BUT if it suffers a catastrophic failure rendering the Taycan undriveable, then that IS in scope for the Extended Warranty - which, like you, is news...
