Look, it's not that i don't get why they made it this way: A more complex system like this provides much more flexibility which is something that should be praised of course... but that's only if it works, isn't it?
Anyway now i understand it's simply a bug that's easily solvable so tomorrow or...
So i should reset the charging planner as you describe and just set it back up the way it was? or without a profile?
Not to sound mistrustful but isn't doing the same thing i did before usually leading to the same result?
That i'm sure will be very useful to someone with an EVSE which...
That’s exactly what makes me angry when i think about it. It should be set to do it as standard out of the box and only if you need to have some extravagant need you have to look for it, but no. Germans knows better.
I will try this before everything else. I reread the manual and it seems to hint at this under one of the optimized charging sections. ( Given i understood the 2 pages of german-engineer-tangled concepts correctly )
Unfortunately (?) i don't have a wallbox or other type of smart charging, just the dumb Mobile Charger Connect so that can't be the problem. I will try your method for sure and even if it works i sure hope it's not gonna be a routine i need to set since it often happens to stay in charge for 2-3...
Sorry but i don't completely understand.. I set it up a couple weeks ago but for what i remember: with the profile you can only set a minimum charge that the car will reach ignoring the timer, so it starts when you plug it in and stops when 25% ( or other % chosen ) is reached and then will...
Hi everybody,
Just a quick question, as per title : After setting your profile ( min charge 25% ) and timer ( max charge 80% ) does your taycan keep charging?
I found out mine did it multiple times. This morning too i found it at 92% instead of the 80 i set.
After it did the first time i...
I suspected it, i wasn't hopeful. I truly don't understand the reason why though, even more so since the software team is shared with all the VW group and more control would be a feature very much appreciated; i understand sleeping in a porsche is not porsche-like ( even if they sell the tent...
Ah, well then i'm sorry i must have misread. So no battery pre-conditioning, ok.
But then again, since my question started from a desire to sleep in my car while in a camping spot ( without the roof tent ) the most important part was if it was possibile to use the timer/ keep the a/c on more...
Are you really telling me that i can, for example, sleep in my taycan by setting something like 1 timer for each hour, and these timers don't touch the battery at all?
Are you sure that when you setup your timer for when you wanna use the car in the morning normally, it doesn't pre-heat the...
Hi everybody,
i've read many post on this forum about how this car is not a tesla and there isn't a function or a timer that can keep the a/c on or activate it on a timer. I've also read that it could be done only if you "sacrifice" the energy for the battery preconditioning because the usual...
i'd say that if you pay them they would change the cells
Anyway i think i'll wait, after asking for the documents i saw that a lot of changes, coated brakes included, were not done yet. I don't want to do 10/15k euro of work on a 140km car. And this was a porsche dealer that now doesn't answer...
Hi everyone,
earlier today I wrote a post -> here <- (and on the /r site ) which dissuaded me from buying a non-CPO porsche taycan 2020 and now, looking on the porsche website, the only decent specced reasonably priced porsche is one with 140.000 km or ~86.000 miles for 57.000 euros.
Now, the...
Well thanks you all for the answers, unfortunately the only other Taycan 4S decently specced and sold by a porsche dealer, official CPO is a 140.000 km one. They offer 2 years of warranty of course, but what would you say? is it too much?
Maybe i should open another thread ---> i did ...
