No gap. But I am compiling a long email refuting some of the appraiser's notes. They noted 2 of the comparable vehicles have fog lights and one has positraction. Should I just ask for a new person to value the car?
Verdict is in. Total loss. But the valuation of the car is laughable. Gonna have to send them the window sticker and comparable taycans in the area. CCC is the valuation company my insurance is using. I got brand new tires less than a month old and somehow they measured it at 5/32. What a joke
thanks everyone for the input. somehow the shop said it's fixable. i mean i get that everything can be fixed...but at what cost. so i'll be heading to the shop today to get clarification on what exactly they mean and such. there's no way they're gonna convince me it'll "buff out". still waiting...
Would you happen to have some pics of the damage? My Taycan was also involved in an accident and I wanted to compare my damage to yours that was deemed a total loss. Sorry that we're both dealing with the loss of our vehicles.
Sadly I think the same. I feel that the repair cost will exceed 75% of the value. I quickly added the costs of just the exterior stuff that I could see and it was already between 10 and 20k. Not counting the calipers, wheels, or wiring either. The car also had a chassis error...I believe the air...
