Personally for a car like the Taycan, I got extended warranty for the peace of mind.

I'm quite sure there will be hackers who can work around this. Just like how we keep vintage cars alive today, in future, these 1st gen EVs will be "vintage" cars and there will be enthusiasts and aftermarket providers who will also maintain these.

They should let them in for sure. Let the free market and consumers decide.

You're right that their tech is probably more advanced when it comes to EV - but their quality control may still be trying to catch up.

Thanks for sharing. China is still in its infancy in terms of car manufacturing compared to US, Europe and Japan, even Korea. Give them a couple of more decades.

Also FSD is likely to work better and be more efficient if everyone is FSD - take humans out of the equation and the FSD cars can talk to each other and go much faster safely.

I don’t know the answer but my installer managed to install a Blackvue Dashcam with a CE link neon plus external battery under the passenger seat, with no issues, so it can be done.

Seems like a good deal with the included options.

Carwow’s thumbnail made the Audi look worse than it is - it actually looks much better than the Luce.

The lesson seems to be never turn on transport mode and ignore the alarm calls.

It’s better than no brake lights if you’re slowing down. Best to have people slow down behind you.

Regardless, getting 90% back of your RRP after 2 years of driving is definitely a win considering the depreciation on these cars.
