I also just did my cupholders, I used Silicone spray instead, hoping clear and less smelly would do it... I'll report in next week when I take the long drive with the steel cups.
I've had a racing license for about 20 years, I own a fleet of cars, most of them sports cars, have a company in the car biz since 2003, which is most of my kids' lives... Neither is even the least bit interested in learning to drive... I've even offered to buy them their own cars!:facepalm...
thanks for this!
I'm totally willing to give it a try, but before I do, does it smell? I find that being trapped in a cabin with WD-40 standard would be a problem... Perhaps I should try K-Y first? I hear you can get it in all sorts of flavours, ahem, I mean scents.
My RS Spider stock GTS 21's give me a 3-5% error rate on my speedo - 104-5 km/h =-109 km/h 100 via GPS, and 125 gets me 120 GPS speed - these are the wheels and tires the car came with... it's not that the Porsche is fast, its PRETENDING to go faster than it really is... This is also true with...
We constantly do the rotation thing and it works ok-ish.
Same problems with my wife's Audi.
Never had an issue with my Mercedes, but then it didn't have the stupid grabber feet.
Someone needs to 3D print an insert that presses in the feet and replaces them with a simple rubber ring. Seriously...
I have one major complaint about my Taycan, I hate that the cupholders are noisy. The fingers that grip the cups are noisy, especially if you have a metal cup.
Anyone come up with a solution?
You're not, we just did our weekly 250 km drive, and I can only compare the Taycan to a Rolls in terms of comfort and quiet on the road (highway) and what I love which the Rolls can't offer is you're driving a fun sporty car that handles great. I turned off the "Electric Sport Sound" since to me...
My disappointment isn't the e-shit but I really do like the red circle and even the numbers (something like a Rolls Royce power reserve would be cool) around the speedo, which I find REALLY boring and bland on my 2024
