The fact that this is still an issue is insane. I have decided to switch to another EV. It is hard to justify having a Porsche EV with no functioning navigation planner or preconditioning when there are so many better (and way cheaper) options. It is just not acceptable. What a way to screw over...
Had this exact update performed today including the 12V battery sensor. According to the dealership they have had success with this update in fixing the navigation. After 20km so far so good but will test further in the coming days.
Had the same experience. Until after a couple of days then the navigation issues returned. Have now booked an appoinment at my local Porsche center as they believe it can be solved with an onsite software update. Lets see…
I called Porsche this morning and after some investigation on their side they did conclude that I needed a software update at the Porsche dealership (see photo). My local Porsche dealership did say that they have had luck with this update solving for the navigation issues.

Such a huge feature loss for an EV and I am amazed that they have not already fixed this. It quite honestly is not ok and makes me second guess having an EV Porsche if I cant take it for a roadtrip.
What is the latest in terms of Porsche fixing the navigation? I mean, its a pretty big feature loss for an EV not having the navigation with Porsche charging planner…

No noticeable difference after the update. As earlier mentioned immediately after the update, the iphone cannot connect to Apple carplay but will be resolved after you have turned off and on the car.
