  1. Paint or powder coat CT wheels

Oh that may be true. I have full ceramics --- they have no dust.
  2. Paint or powder coat CT wheels

Who cares if water beads up off the wheels. I wouldn't bother.
  3. Paint or powder coat CT wheels

Vesuvius gray is a paint, not a powder coat, as far as I can tell on OEM. Despite that, powder coat is what I use for all my jeep beadlocks and is more durable than paint, so if you are happy with the gray shade, I fully support powder coating. I can't fathom bothering to ceramic coat my...
  4. Paint or powder coat CT wheels

Also, the vesuvius gray is painted, and finished in satin if you want to go that route instead. I certainly wouldn't pay for new OE wheels unless you hate your wallet. OU9 paint code. Edit: Went back and looked. Perfect match to OE wheels...
  5. Paint or powder coat CT wheels

Just make a post for a trade and your location. Maybe works out as it did for me. (I liked the CT Vesuvius gray, traded the 20" aeros to a member who wanted them) https://cdn.taycanforum.com/attachments/79/79954-615413783c23997ed5cee0634c582ea5.jpeg
  6. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

I have ACC as well. I have lots of cars, forgive me if I don't understand which option makes this car come to a stop, all I can say is it does. Why are you such a dick?
  7. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

My car comes to a complete stop and will hold the brakes without me touching them. I don't know what to tell you other than you are acting like a child.
  8. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

I feel like I was fairly clear about what I meant and you didn't read it clearly. " The fatigue of having to use the brake when it is stop and go isn't there as I just activate auto when it gets to that point, which still works, and does apply the brakes. "
  9. Porsche Active Ride review

Not sure if you go all the time, but you need to be real careful about the rocks in the road after the 39 splits from the 2 after the tunnels. Maybe see you up there sometime!
  10. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

I disagree with this. I love the MapEV heavy regen in heavy LA traffic and like it much better than the auto mode which plows into much slower traffic much faster than I am comfortable with. (Like when the lane over is barely moving, I don't want to come in at 70mph, even if the car will do a...
  11. Taycan CT turbo tyres

https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/put-panamera-spec-michelin-pilot-sport-s-5-on-taycan.29210/ I don't have rubbing, although it is close. That said, I have the CT wheels on a turbo s sedan, and I don't know if any other well or strut differences between all the models. All I can say...
  12. CAR won't accelerate

And it will go faster if you get near flooring it in those modes, which makes it seem like something is off.
  13. Put Panamera Spec Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 on Taycan

I cannot tell a difference given the way I drive the car. The car thinks the range is roughly the same, but I never really go drive long distances in a steady manner to get a real baseline. I can't see how adding a half inch up front and a inch in the back isn't bad for range though, but I...
  14. Put Panamera Spec Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 on Taycan

Yeah, i just put the tires on stock wheels (although my wheels are from a CT taycan as I traded with another forum member for my aeros, but they are same size/offset as any 21” taycan wheel) I did not do spacers and the front is tight to upright with maybe a cm of spacing. The rear seems far...
  15. Put Panamera Spec Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 on Taycan

One other thing to mention. The extra width and the deep lip on the PSS5 gives great curb protection to the rim. Far better than any other tire I've had on the car.
