40K Euro and a ton of work to get a what should have been totaled Taycan that isn't worth more than 40K now :\

Could have bought a base CPO for 60K Euro. I guess the journey is the destination and he taught me more about how the Taycan is built than any other source I've found.

Lots of plastic, that's for sure!

Thanks for posting, going to watch it later tonight ... I somehow actually enjoyed the first part, brooooo
Normally I give all those youtube "open mouth" thumbs the "don't recommend this channel" treatment, but I'll have to make an exception for this one.

Yeah, but you don’t get clicks for buying a used car.

Nice vids, both of them.
I had seen the first before this one and enjoyed every single bit of it.
But then again, in the end he still needs specialists and official PIWIS to reset and fix everything electronic.
I like the cheap methods he's using, searching for the best deal, reselling stuff, excellent 👍🏻

His video has given me confidence that I can do some of the work myself. I was previously not confident in touching an EV for work like rotors and breakpads.

Why?
It's not different from any other car.
But I understand your view, I was a bit scared too myself.
That had everything to do with the warranty, you can't do anything on your own car cuz it'll void the warranty.
Even with simple things like rotors and pads.
If you have (extended) warranty you have to change the pads every 6 years, including caliper bolts, sensors and brake fluid.
That's a €3900 maintenance interval, that's on top of the cost of the extended warranty.
So after 3 years after the factory warranty you're already down €7000+...

Now that I don't have warranty anymore I can do these things myself for a fraction of the cost, that's less than €1000...
I like to work on my cars so win/win.
I even buy and change my own tires and get them balanced for €50.
Who said driving a Taycan is expensive?
That's why I like these vids which shows it's just a car.
.... without an exhaust, air filter, oil filter, spark plugs and oil changes. 🥳

Very well said. I do not have extended warranty here in the UK. Close to year 6 and will be at 65k miles I may well need new rotors and pad by this time.

Hopefully I will do this myself. Like I have done on my other csrs
