Correct tap for dashcam install-2025 Taycan 4S CT

Hello, my installer, Rich, couldn't fit his standard sized tap into the fuse box to power my Thinkware Dashcam. Does anyone know whether this fuse box uses a proprietary sized fuse? How did others do this?

Does the rearview mirror not provide sufficient power for the dashcam or do you not want to tap it? I just had the dealership install a radar detector through there and they told me they could do the same for a dashcam.

I'm installing an external battery and Thinkware dashcam, so I think he was aiming to install it in the driver's footwell so we can hide the battery close by.

That yellow fuse looks like a maxi compact ... porsche uses the standard ATO sized ones

the add-a-fuse with the orange 5 fuse in the pic looks correct.

I don’t know the answer but my installer managed to install a Blackvue Dashcam with a CE link neon plus external battery under the passenger seat, with no issues, so it can be done.

Did that yellow fuse come out of the taycan?

The 3 bottom rows of the fuse box near the pedals are all standard fuses
usually when people add stuff, it's done there
