Getting my Taycan around September and looking for advice on either the PPF,CC or both?

Never had any before and want to protect the car as much as I can.

At the moment the ceramic coating seems favourite but not sure.

Anyone had theirs done?

cheers for any advice

My RWD should be to me in 3 weeks. My plan is PPF on the front and then ceramic coating immediately upon delivery.

Many thanks. Are they ceramic coating the PPF as well? Just heard so many conflicting views.

Yes. Don't think it would make any sense to not coat the PPF while they are doing the whole car.

I agree but have seen a few posts in the forum warning not to coat the PPF

I have done a complete PPF on my Taycan. For me it also protects a bit against French people slamming the door into your side at parking spots. I have had the front protected on other cars and there was no stone chip at all afte4 about 85 k kilometres.
There is a different type of ceramic that you apply over PPF and the main benefits is the extra hydrophobic layer you get. It also has a bit of UV protection, which might help against the PPF going a bit yellow.

here is a link that covers the options.

others just like to wax their cars to keep them shiny. It is A personal decision.

I am getting both done. Basically the deal is do the PPF for the whole car & get G Techniq ceramic coating free. No brainier.
Thanks

I've got full Xpel PPF and 4 coats of Ceramic Pro. I just can't believe how good this stuff is. I had a marble sized rock hit my hood at high speed and just had to replace the PPF. Spots and dirt just rinse off. It is quite amazing - better than the best wax I've seen.

I am skeptical of PPF that doesn't ever require ceramic, because I can't believe it can maintain its properties year after year. My PPF person has me coming in every year for a $100 refresh of the ceramic coating, which I think makes sense.

I’ve had Cerama Pro 5 Year on my last three cars & am very satisfied.

PPF and ceramic for me, and I cannot get over how much it adds to the looks and ease of care.
