That is also what I understood from the manual, regen only kicks in when the brakes are "set".
My car has about 300 miles now. When I put the "power" meter in the centre of the dash and turn regen on I see the green, but it is extrememly minimal, I would estimate only a couple of millimeters...
That is just the same as between a base Panamera and a Panamera Turbo s or between a base 911 and a 911 Turbo s.
If you want "top of the line" you pay a disproportional premium.
I see you are also from Belgium, even a base with limited options will be a 95 to 100K EUR car. Not exactly "for the...
FYI, nothing on the Euro websites yet, US earlier (official) release than Europe. Dealers here have been taking orders for the base for some weeks or even months, but no official unveiling, specs nor prices yet. Should be imminent now that US has launched.
Indeed @porsche_coyote , very strange statment by @John89, I think it's very well documented that range figures communicated by Porsche for the Taycan are very conservative and in most circumstances the car exceeds them (as it does with the EPA figures I believe, it would seem that especially at...
Range mode also expands the rear wing at a certain speed if I'm not mistaken.
So, Range mode:
- suspension to lowest position
- Vmax limited (but adaptable by driver)
- airco to eco plus (but adaptable by driver)
- 2WD (front WD) when car is at constant speed
- rear wing extends as from...
Very good write up and info. Thx!
PS: still jealous of everbody who had the cojones to order mamba!! 👌👌 Love it!
- how do you guys see the exact battery temperature? I can't seem to find this in the car. Or do you just assume by taking another temperature?
- when you put...
My 4S is my daily driver and only car. It replaced a BMW 740e iPerformance PHEV daily driver and a Mercedes ML63 AMG "funcar". My wife drives an Opel Corsa. I think this car is rebranded and sold as a "Buick Encore" in the USA.
But honestly, in todays traffic situation with gridlock and parking...
Ionity is all over Europe. Also over here it is the "native network" for Porsche and all other brands in the Ionity consortium. It is certainly the only network offering 350kw.
I have just had the car for 1 week, I tried 1 Ionity 350kw charger just to give it a go because I passed by it and it...
Question: how did you come to the 4 stops planning? For 600 km trip I would calculate 1, max 2 stops + charge at end point overnight. What was the reasoning for decision to go for 4 stops? I would say this is not 1 more than needed, but certainly 2 or even 3 more than needed? Am I missing something?
Quite disagree. Views are very good and suit me very fine thank you. No problems at all relying on the cameras to park here. Especially the fro t and back cerb vieuws are very, very good. Works perfectly.
Yes, indeed. But the 360 view in the Porsche is incredible. Best I have ever had. Turn on the 360, forward view where you can see the sides of the car and you can literally put it within 1/2 inch. Excellent. But indeed, it's tight.
