My 3D printed Taycan phone holder

Nice. I have a very similar solution (magnet plus usbc connector) exactly at the same place. My only issue (besides being right handed so definitely no touching while driving) is that if I forget to take out the phone before leaving the car (or just need to do a quick exit) then in 90% of...

Help - car completely dead - can't get into neutral for towing

Really? Mine won't. It will immediately switch to hold and stop the car if it detects rolling backwards (tried multiple times, many unwanted too. It actually plasters you to the ground). Only way to let it roll is to put it into N (neutral or whatever it is).

Reverse Engineering the Sport Sound Module

Thx of reminding me of this thread. Unfortunately no news on this front after almost 2 years. I wish there was a way to add some extra sound or different sound for launch control. From time to time I come across kids asking to "rev it" and I can't give them anything besides the meh sound of LC 😕

Does the brake recall include a fluid flush/replacement?

I honestly don't remember. I did get a previous recall for the pcm and my car was in the shop about 5 months ago when my air suspension failed (so I assume they did all missing updates) but don't remember that specific code. I do know that the SA said the car got the ARB0 and 2 additional...

Does the brake recall include a fluid flush/replacement?

I think you only need to press it once (in case of sudden illness like a stroke) and it will do the emergency braking (which you pointed out very well... will be violent).

Does the brake recall include a fluid flush/replacement?

Wow. I'm so sorry to read this. I'd expected the car to still break using regen and only the last 15km/h being affected by brake line failure. Back when I got the recall notice, my SA was of the opinion it wasn't that critical because of how Taycans break but in hindsight, all previous recalls I...

🔋 Baseline for HV Battery SoH Performance (Battery Degradation Data by Taycan Owners)

I'm sure it's within the usual 1-2% as reported by multiple people that have got their real SoH from Porsche after the lengthy calibration procedure. We also know that the curve tends to flatten over time. Remember it has to stay above 70% for 160.000km and above 80% for the first 60.000km.

🔋 Baseline for HV Battery SoH Performance (Battery Degradation Data by Taycan Owners)

This thread has been invaluable to record our battery health and contributing to slowly plot an "average over time" for the Taycan battery technology. However, as time passes by and more and more data points are added, slowly but surely, one stops being able to see the trees because of the...

Does the brake recall include a fluid flush/replacement?

Just posting my experience. Maybe it helps someone, maybe it doesn't. Got the ARB0 recall letter early August. At the time the Dealership didn't have the parts in stock. At 29000km car popped a warning that I should replace the cabin filter. I ignored it since I was due for 30k km service...

    Dealerships and initial contacts

I thought so too. The way they talked about it, it seemed like I had steel wires protruding from the tires (I once had that with a MB... 😂 ) which isn't the case. I will change them nevertheless. Just not in "panic mode". My Tire Dealer will put Asymmetric 5 all around. I really wanted to try...

    Dealerships and initial contacts

So... back from my Tyre Shop. The owner states the guys at the Dealership must be smoking something good. Staff checked all 4 tires, still 2mm tread left above minimum mark. Sure, they're approaching end of life but "undriveable" is a bit far fetched. I told him to order the tires anyway and...

    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

I use the car 4-5 times a day. 18 months doesn't sound that bad compared to some 2-3 months I've read about

    Dealerships and initial contacts

Wow. Over a year later I return to my thread 😁 What has happen in between? Not much really. I clocked 32000 km in about 18 months and just had my 30.000km inspection (at whopping €298 which included €119 for the cabin filter) During my first year of ownership, I only experienced 2 issues...

    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

Final update After switching from the Panasonic back to the no name, no warning popped so it took indeed a few starts/days to make the message dissappear regardless of what new battery was put in. @Maelstrom finally went to the 30k km service one week after the 13th (20th). No undercarriage...

    Groupbuy Redshift Performance

Once warranty is out the window though... Why not? 😁 Battery wise, I doubt it will impact it too much to be a concern but yea, I agree 5k is a bit steep

    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

Just tried this morning and no funky message anymore. Not sure it was the Panasonic vs no name or I just didn't give it enough time to re register. I kinda want to try the no name again 🤣

    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

I already did twice. Just waiting for the message to dissappear which it hasn't yet

Charging in Portugal: (almost) everything you need to know!

Update. Got the new porsche card! Apparently it now works in Portugal (will physically test tomorrow) which means Porsche registered as a CEME... I'm afraid next time I want to charge at a dealership they will charge me (the Leiria Porsche Dealer did NOT charge me two weeks ago though. No...
