You should take it to a Porsche dealership for battery damage inspection so that you’re not left holding the bag when they deny a battery related warranty.
My dealership experience with Porsche has been abominable. The techs are generally incompetent and I have been lied to by service advisors. In two occasions they overlooked a requested service item and just told me it’s not a big deal, we’ll catch it next time. For this reason, I might go back...
I currently have this problem with my car and I’m very close to selling it for this reason. It’s currently in service for various recalls and I hope the brake recall fixes it like yours.
If you have pot hole problems in your area then be very careful with a low riding Taycan. I’ve seen people bottom out on speed bumps and damaging their battery housing which can cost over $10k US.
You could keep the Taycan and get a 2021 Range Rover SV Autobiography. It’s a super luxurious go anywhere suv. I just got a P525 Westminster in addition to my 4s and I find myself looking forward to the RR more often.
My Passenger door rattles too. I thought the speakers were busted untill I foud out that it was the door or door panel. I have all types of rattles in my car such as speaker grilles on the dashboard, etc..Porsche has to do better because BMW does much in coach building.
I agree with everything you’ve stated here and that’s why I insisted that the selling dealership should fix it. Porsche finally called them and we have settled it.
Has anyone been able to have a dealer fix this matter for them? My car goes in for service next week and I’d like to inform them about what another dealer may have done to fix it since my dealer said they could find any fault with my car during the last service appointment.
That is a very well-equipped car and a good price. The performance package is super. Enjoy it, from another Atlantan. Maybe you can de-badge the Taycan 4 S logo? I just think it's a cleaner look.
Update on this matter:
I settled with Porsche Norwell today and they will be paying $2300 for half of the windshield replacement. I am satisfied with it because I think I can get it installed for Less than $$2500 if I shop around.
