Yep. Technically the charging is a separate service on the bill, and the recall is indeed free. Was the charge required for the recall? Maybe... Was it demanded by the customer? No.

One thing to note about the Porsche Approved warranty: it's valid internationally. Several US people get it in Canada; similarly in Europe, getting it in Germany can be cheaper.
Ionity and other fast chargers are DC, not AC.
For me, Ionity costs only 0,34CHF/kWh in the original service, which is nice.
But other supported fast chargers cost 0.38CHF/kWh + 0.35CHF/min - much less interesting.
At 150kW, that's like at least 0.52CHF/kWh
At 250kW, that's at least 0,46CHF/kWh...
I'm in the same boat: also in CH; also with another 1.5 year on the original service.
It seems the "Charging Service", short, will be similar to our Charging Service Taycan, with the additional monthly free.
