Does anyone use this function successfully in the UK.
I've never bothered to date, but was curious about search options just now, sat in a car park whilst my son's in a birthday party😁
No matter what I plug in to search for, the "G" function always gives "no results".
Had a bit of a search...
Anyone else had this? Any bright ideas for extraction given the thing has now fully hidden under the runner?
Anyone lost anything bigger there? Small children? Bananas?
Returned to my car tonight and some utter knob jockey in a Range Rover had parked their car so close to my driver's side that I couldn't even get to open the door.
Chances of me, as a larger athlete, crawling into the driver's side from the passenger's are zero. So a few seconds of scratching...
Are all the battery threads about different things?
Or should there be a separate battery section?
There seem to have been half a dozen at least on the recall situation...
My car's in having the brake hose recall (incl. software update) and heater recall. Will post more on that once complete (though the dealer continues to restore my faith in main dealers across marques).
I have a MY25 CT4 as a loaner...some thoughts.
Looks - have always liked the way the CT...
Never gave it much of a thought before...just accepted that the choices on ambient lighting were limited.
Then fiddled with "dynamic" yesterday, and it seemed to settle on a purple colour that my youngest (and I) quite liked.
Why. Oh why. Mr Porsche Software Engineer can I not select purple...
Had cause to try Android Auto a little today - was expecting a call via Whatsapp so thought I'd see if it would work. et voila, it does.
But why does Android Auto look like the interface was designed by 6yr olds in a Fisher Price design lab?
And why can't you view its maps or other functions...
Slight rush job ferrying my youngest around last night, never thought to look at what range I had left.
This was what I landed home with 😁
Good job my OH wasn't in the car or she'd be in therapy today!
Unexpectedly used our Taycan on a 320-350 mile trip this week. And to a UK location (Cornwall) that is less well endowed with chargers than other areas in the UK .
All went perfectly...not least because I managed an effective range of over 200 miles for the first time!
Have typically been...
Am currently in Cornwall, unexpectedly in the Taycan, 315-350 miles from home.
The trip down was smooth and uneventful, though needed two charge stops (Leigh Delamere and Exeter) with the way the app route planner sent us. But this route took us an extra 35miles or so out of our way and missed...
Car's in for its first service and one of the things I asked to be checked was my broken cupholders - the spring loaded prongs (in both front cupholders) have disappeared into their holes. Some could be prised out but not all.
The initial view from the dealer is that it's not a warranty claim...
Couldn't find the other thread where these were shown, so being pleased with myself and the product thought I'd start a new one.
My car didn't have these optioned... And liking the occasional bit of chintz I thought "why not?".
Aftermarket. Units are at least as good quality as the...
I am clearly failing in the terminology I'm using... But has anyone experienced their cupholder prongs/side adjusters go missing into the cavity?
The spring loaded clips that "grip" a cup/bottle?
Noticed a few on mine seem to have gone, and not sure how to get them back.
Have seen the vid...
Per this thread - https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/feature-request.17782/post-274076 - I sent a bunch of feedback to Porsche about PCM/instruments functionality.
One of the things I noted was around media control via the steering wheel, and how some things were so nearly "right".
One...
We all like to moan about service at the slightest provocation, self included (or perhaps especially :))...so thought a thread giving dealers a thumbs up might be a "good thing".
I've had a couple recently (ish).
Porsche Centre Sheffield - took my kids "home" to watch our football team. My...
I have the use of a Panamera 4 this week, and for the most part I don't really see the point of it.
But one thing (thus far the only thing) I like over my Taycan is that the rear view mirror LED light cannot be seen from space.
Are there any settings in the Taycan that can turn this down...
OK, I might have sprung for a used GTS ST, having pretty much (with only a little man maths) hit the threshold that I have previously noted would be "interesting" :)
All being well, I'll be collecting tomorrow.
Quick question, but what should these come with new? I'm not meaning the "options"...
Nope, no further ahead with my GTS ST order... (I bet the title got a few regulars' pulses going though :D).
But I have received an email today noting I can now order a personalised chronograph watch with over 6 million combinations available.
I'm guessing ordering one of these won't be...
