    Turning on the Massage Seats

this was a great tip, thanks! I even learned you can increase the pressure a bit.

    Turning on the Massage Seats

I have the massage seat option in my car . . . it's not as amazing as I envisioned, but I still like it quite a lot. But . . . the screens you have to page through to turn it on are cumbersome and way too many, especially while driving. I have my programmed button on the steering wheel for my...

Which extras you wouldn't order again

I got the puddle lights on the doors. Definitely would not pay for those again. I ordered my car shortly after having driven an Audi for a few days that had them (while my car was being serviced). They were cooler on the Audi (Audi rings instead of just the word 'Porsche"), and the effect...

2021 April Software update results - 2020 Taycan Turbo

Thanks. I never received anything, but just called them and they scheduled an appointment for me. Very much looking forward to wireless CarPlay and comfort access that actually works. Any improvement in the rear camera after update?

2021 April Software update results - 2020 Taycan Turbo

Did you guys get some note (e-mail or letter) that you were eligible for this update? Last I spoke to the dealer (late March maybe?) they told me they couldn't install it until I got something from Porsche alerting me to my eligibility for it.

No Software Updates/Improvements since June (2020) delivery?

Thank you for this! I just called the dealer back and talked to a different service consultant. He knew about this update and said my car won't be eligible until I receive the e-mail or letter. Not sure why the slow roll out, it's kind of disappointing they won't just install it for me, but...

No Software Updates/Improvements since June (2020) delivery?

I got my Taycan Turbo last June, drove it through November then had it away until now. Late October last year I had to stop into the dealer briefly to address a small issue and they told me there was a software update available at that time, but I didn't have time for them to install it. I...

    Speed Change Confirmation

I agree, the deceleration is way too sharp. I actually think it's a pretty dangerous feature as a result. Before I learned how to turn it off I had a couple times where I feel it could have easily caused someone to run into me from behind had they not been paying attention. There was one...

Using Apple Play ( does not show up at times when I connect to my phone )

Have had similar issues. Especially if I’m parked where there is no cell service. I also have in my head that maybe unlocking the phone helps, but don’t know if that’s truly the case.

    Volume/Speakers Not Working

Yeah, I was doing enough driving this weekend that I took it to the dealer. They ’put the car in sleep mode’ then started it up and it was fine. I’m really tired of these types of issues with this car. Of note, they offered a software update, but it was going to take more time than I had. I...

    Volume/Speakers Not Working

I got in my car today and the sound doesn’t work. The car knows it isn’t working because volume is stuck at -1. Any ideas?

Wave Speed Lower Than Dashboard Speed

I’ve been using waze frequently in CarPlay. I noticed that it always says my speed is 2-3mph slower than the dashboard. That’s a huge difference. Which would you bet is correct, and why? Anyone else notice the same?

Do you use the power button or the park button & lock when you leave

The car features that are supposed to work automatically ... handles pop out on approach, locking the car by pressing the spot on the handle, auto shutdown ... do not work reliably in my experience. I had a slightly embarrassing situation just last weekend In a parking lot where I approached...

    Buyer"s Remorse?

Yes, I mentioned you can get rid of the warning By ‘jiggling’ it a bit. No idea if the sensors are testing compression at 10 and 2 also ... in this scenario I’m always doing one handed driving with my hand at 6 or 12. Maybe if I simply turn active lane keeping off it will stop.

    Buyer"s Remorse?

Just to add, my limited experience with InnoDrive doesn’t give me the sense that you could safely take your hands off the wheel even for short periods. I could be wrong, won’t be finding out myself.

    Buyer"s Remorse?

Yeah, but I am. My hands (hand, really) are on the wheel. It’s just not sensing them because I’m not doing squat, cause there’s nothing to do.

    Buyer"s Remorse?

100% of the things I dislike have been discussed elsewhere, so I think they just bother me more. I am a little butthurt right now though because a day trip was ruined by my car not charging overnight on Saturday. I figured out the issue, but it was stupid and should have worked. Anyhow, in no...

    Buyer"s Remorse?

I do have buyers remorse. It is a cool car, but it has so many bugs, quirks, and poor design decisions. If you’re inclined, just skip it until v2.

but what’s rain sensing about it if you have to set the interval? That’s the whole point, it should do that for you.
