What is your battery temperature? This happened to me once when the battery got too hot (very hot day, very hard driving.) It recovered when it cooled off.

Car has been working fine since. I’m chalking it up as a software glitch until it won’t drive any more.

I was not charging, in fact I simply powered the car up to leave. Power cycle fixed it and it ran fine. Do I have a battery issue, or was it a random Taycan glitch? We will never know!

There used to be a product called "Black Again" that would fix up black plastics like this. I don't know what the modern equivalent would be.

I miss my Targa and admit I've been window shopping them myself. I hate the thought of going back to ICE, but...man...they are so beautiful and fun.

I think I am being monitored, and don't have privacy mode on....but the fact they sent me that email makes me second-guess it.

I think about going back when my Taycan pisses me off. I miss my 991 Targa a lot. But no, the EV power and torque is too much to give up.

AFAIK it still doesn't save your settings. The built in nav is "okay." You'll want to use it over Carplay anyway, as it's the only way to precondition your battery for charging on trips. I end up putting my phone in the door pocket.
