Who knows in some about of years, be is three or five (???), that we woule pull off at an EV charger exit ramp, and as we drive down that parallel travel lane and across the charging pad located under the road at 5 or 10 MPH, the car when having traversed the pad’s 50 yard length, would leave at...
If you re looking for day to day elegance without your Taycan being “spiritedly exercised,” personally the only one of them I would get is RWS. But the way I drive enthusiastically when on isolated country, cornering roads, I deliberately want and would only own a Taycan with all three...
Almost every auto media review as well as almost every one of our fellow posters here who have it on their 2025 Taycan rave about it! If someone here would write my wife and me a check for $7,000 U.S., we would definitely, enthusiastically add it into our later order. Yet as I posted above...
I have very limited Taycan experience but in two good length test drives in a 4S CT on average to good road surfaces with 20” wheels but no active ride, its suspension was so compliant I chose to near immediately put both in Sports Plus. My wife and I were very happy with that one change though...
Thank you so very much tigerbalm for taking us along on your exciting journey. What fun even for us removed spectators. So glad your Taycan did all you asked of it well.
Thank you again!
I really like the names you all have chosen. Your Taycans look great. A very fun thread.
Got our plate already (on our leased iX M60) but not yet ordered our Porsche EV., e.g., “WRP DRV”…
Might we add a 2027 Cayman EV into our garage? Could be, for a smatter Cayman with about 1 1/2 generations of new/improvements might be a winner for us.
Porsche’s very successful past strategy has been to make exemplary engineered products and to demand a massive price for them due to its quality and its exclusivity. That strategy has worked well to this point in time , i.e., though 2023 Porsche was reputed to have a 23% ROI margin — alleged to...
imo, it is important we respect every type of Porsche owner. And even those of us who are EV Porsche buyers, similarly respect those who instead property covet after their 911 GT3 RS.
So many good and accurate comments here, though # 1 to me is that on forums everyone who has a problem posts up about it; for example everyone with a steering issue will post up about ”my steering issue is” but of the thousands who have never had steering issue, doubt ten have posted that...
When we had our RAV4 Prime as our DD before our iX, while we always charged it to full at home, on days when a round trip was quite a bit longer than its max 42 miles range, over the course of typically a month or two, we needed to refill the gas tank.
I would love to see a study done 7 years from now when EV technology and therefore range has evolved further. In the meantime we are very happy BEV beta testers; of course have not been to a gas station in our EV for year since it became our DD (replacing our plug in hybrid RAV4 Prime).
For sure the Motor Trend series is marketing. I have watched and enjoyed them, and if there were another one for either the Taycan or the Macan , would wartch It too. Over 1/4 million views on each of the four I have watched, so in my case, “successful marketing.”
Congratualtions. What a Merry Christmas you are already starting to have. I just love your picture from the straight back. Sure defines the Cross Turismo‘s looks with its great curvy hips.
Here is to your having more incredible Taycan years with your new one!
