For Americans waiting for their Porsche deliveries, I guess they could substitute a Corvette or Mustang. But then I've never seen a thread on this forum where someone traded their Porsche for a Corvette of Mustang. Or maybe a Dodge Charger Hellcat.
April 2 is when this gets interesting. Trump is now basically picking fights with the entire world on all fronts at the same time so the blowback is going to come from a lot of different directions. There has been some consequence to the US on a limited basis so far, but this is going to go...
The only test that is valid for a warranty claim is the Porsche test done by an authorized Porsche dealer. Out of interest, can you ask a Porsche dealer to do the test and what the cost would be?
The rest is a lot of DYI stuff.
Something doesn't add up. The law requires manufacturers' to report defects to the government and owners. Including details of the defect and what precautions that need to be taken and correct the defect. I doubt there is a massive coverup to hide this. Car manufacturers know what happens to...
For my wife not me. I want the good stuff. But I might borrow it every now and then. Pick up some stuff from home depot. But practically, cars are not selling because the average person can't afford them and they need cheaper options.
Apparently speaking from a parallel universe. I could see getting the wife a $30,000 Chinese chariot rather than a $90.000 Macan for driving about town.
Yesterday paid $5.00 CDN for a dozen eggs in Canada. That's for the fancier eggs from chickens that get treated nice. That's $3.50 US and we have bird flu too.
I'm not sure that people are really clear on the level of the current attack on EV's in the US. Including sabotage of charging stations, every program that provided any sort of incentive to EV's being cancelled or suspended, Tesla's self immolation with it's wannabe brown shirt leader.
Could...
Porsche's big problem is that it is now a public company and not private and there appear to be no sources of growth to support the original valuation. And with all the tariffs and other auto industry problems they are in a bad place. The stock came out Sep 2022 at 84 euros per share with a...
I had a red squirrel get into my Taycan in the garage and chew through the wiring for one of the front headlights. And left a stash of nuts behind. I now always keep the garage doors closed and and bird food in a sealed plastic box.
Wow! $4,500 for a 10 year warranty. The Porsche 3 year extended warranty I got at time of purchase on MY 2020 , valid until December 2027 was for $4,600 US (converted to USD). If I lived in Florida or California, I would ask if they do home owners insurance.
