  1. Wagon (ST) Rear Stays Dirty

It’s annoying, I think it has to do with the low ground clearance + aerodynamics of the car. All cars do get dirty from the rear first but not as fast as Taycan estate, and not all cars are as worth keeping clean like this one!
  2. Any hopes for prior Taycan's for significant upgrade?

For ICE Porsche is known for walking the extra mile to support older OEM parts. Battery for Taycan.1 should not be an exception. Question is, whether manufacturing ”old” batteries makes sense after a certain point or if some newer tech is simply easier for all parties. Cost is likely not the...
  3. 2025 Porsche Taycan 4S vs. RWD for Winter Driving in the Northeast - Worth the Upgrade?

I’m from the Nordics but my understanding is that the winters here (Helsinki) are similar or slightly colder than Northeast US, especially the one we are having now. I had the same consideration when buying my Taycan last Spring and can share my process with you. First of all, Taycan 4 would...
  4. EV Macan vs Taycan ll (UK)

New Macan has 86mm longer wheelbase which brings it almost to same total as Taycan, only 0,7cm shorter. Depending on the setup we might see similar legroom as currently with Taycan. I expect headroom to be more than CT/ST, and boot size is confirmed to be larger than CT/ST has. The new air...
  5. 🚨 2025 Taycan Officially Revealed! Specs, Wallpaper Photos, Videos & US Pricing

Wow some people are taking this really hard, isnt EV/Porsche development supposed to be a good thing? Read through the latest marketing material of any product and get FOMO, nothing new on that. Was range a priority to you when buying a Taycan? Better options for range were out there in 2020...

  7. Taycan App issues

I still have the option to select seats that are heated, perhaps because I have the rear seat hearing option as well?
  8. Model 3 Highland or Secondhand Taycan ST/CT 4S ?

Unless you posted this question to a Tesla forum as well seems like you have made up your mind :)
  9. Anyone regret going from 20s to 21s?

I got 20s for winter season and the noice is noticeable every time I change the tires, though my 20s are also using much newer and more quiet tires, nokia R5 EV vs pirelli pzero. Will have to see how much the noice change is after I update the pirellis to something more quiet. For ride comfort...
  10. Buying used Taycan. Options to avoid

My windshield insurance covers the pano roof as well, I doubt it would break down because of any other reason than stone chip or driving error so feels like I’m covered.
  11. How to remove rear number plate

Rear plate size differs per country so its entirely dependent on the holder you have in place. For instance mine does not use screws at all to hold the plate, you just lift the edge with sufficient force from one side. The holders are not porsche specific, check online what type of solutions are...
  12. Wheel protection (aaaagh!)

Best protection is to accept that low profile wheels will have a few scrapes here and there. 50£ repair sounds like the damage was minimal, I understand the car is new and you want everything to be top notch but in the end they are consumable products that are used outdoors so they will wear out...
  13. Not Driving Taycan 4S for three weeks

    85% is the recommended charge
  14. Winter range

Whether you have a heatpump or not will also affect the efficiency. I read its around 1,7kW/100km when driving at +4c for Polestar 2
  15. Preheating error from MyPorsche app

A software update since last March (I got it around Sep but no idea when it launched) caused the privacy mode bug, I got rid of it after a while after initiating the heating from my mobile while within the car. Never got the other error you mentioned.
  16. Edmunds Test: How fast does each EV charge? - Article

This should me much more of a priority than range for the majority considering switching to an EV
  17. Taycan Floor Jack - need help finding

any pad that supports panamera would do, and apparently BMW pads are fine as well but I dont have personal experience. Ebay is full of them, I even found a local spare parts dealer with suitabie pads on stock. For the jack itself I have used a normal floorjack, be sure to have one that goes low...
  18. Help needed with wheel center caps

Thanks for the tip. Nope, the cap wont attach no matter what. I have to check if dealers have center caps on display and see if they match with the audis, if yes I’ll just order similar ones. If not, I guess I’m out of luck and need to start a modification project on the audi caps.
  19. Help needed with wheel center caps

Not sure if I’m ready for the lifestyle changes associated…
  20. Help needed with wheel center caps

the audi logos stand out of the background so I would need to smoothen them away first. It is my plan B but I dont think it will look that good.
