I have had this happen to me. The only way I was able to release the plug was through the PCM. The car was unlocked, the white light overhead the plug was illuminated, still would not release. Also, it only happened on the passenger port. When charging at home, I now use the driver port.

Most unfortunate and upsetting to me and I didn't even pay for them. Contact your dealer, bring it to them and let them either repaint properly or ask for a refund. The shop they used did not properly prepare the wheels and the price is an outright theft.
