From the lack of response to my post, it would appear that I may be the only person concerned re. the Federal Tax EV Credit. It certainly is not the reason I am buying the car, but I would hate to loose it if avoidable.
Who knows when or if it will take effect, but there is a good chance at some point in time for the US that the rules for the Fed EV Tax Credit are going to change to a $10K credit & a $80K limit on vehicle price. So by waiting for a 2022 model year could cause you to loose the current $7,500 Tax...

Interesting, & thanks for the info.. In my case the car will not be used for business at all. And the LLC that owns it will have no activity except owing the car & I will own the LLC. I will continue to have my tax people research the options.
