Ah ok, I saw the polestar 4 and thought it looked really similar. I don't know how i feel about not having glass there.. maybe i just need to get used to it..
...are holding better. The panic-selling phase appears to be behind us.
Why Taycans depreciate faster than traditional Porsches
The short version: technology obsolescence. Unlike a 911 or Boxster — where the powertrain technology is mature and stable — the Taycan competes against a moving...
Yes, same as with the Polestar 4 (the more "coupe"-like version of the Polestar 3), which you can actually take for a test drive in the U.S. (if you live anywhere near a Polestar dealer).
Does anyone know why it is that EA stations can never deliver 350 KW even when charging a preconditioned battery at a low state of charge?
I understand that sometimes if you have multiple vehicles charging, they have to share power, but in the instance above, that wasn’t a thing. I’ve had a...
I can do one better. Porsche version of this mount is $182
https://shop.porsche.com/us/en-US/p/basic-wall-mount-9J1073010-B/9J1073010
The Audi version: $120
The VW version: $40
Some say there is a new version from a new supplier as I read on other forums. Cannot confirm, just read, but seems legit. Anyone else heard this?
Apparently 10 units hit the UK. Perhaps others to the USA?
Fun to see the complete version after receiving a quick summary while I was ... charging at an EA station!
For the first time in -- a long time.
And I will do my best to achieve another long interval before my next EA visit.
My first plan was to charge at Merrimack NH.
This station was kind of...
...disaster. They had an opportunity to make an EV supercar and spit out a dud.
Good luck selling more than dozens of these. 😂
It’s an uglier version of the Lotus EV SUV.
Just did a quick search and there are only four Lotus Eletre listed for sale in the US…… and they’re all leftover 2025...
Willing to bet the USA version will be hobbled, and people will complain they aren’t as good as activating what we already have. Pretty sure brightness is reduced in the USA.
Since the Panamerica next version will have a front gas engine, that means its “nose height” has to be more than the Taycan‘S. That is unless they come up with two different height front fascias (a low and a high one); if only front fascia, to accommodate that front ICE engine would mean that...
...unlock. (And dissepointed lock itself when i just passed through to the bike).
Now it does sometimes but also sometimes not; then only when grabbing the handle it opens.
Could this be related to the PCM version that also couses the navi-isuues? I didn’t update PCM yet, still at version 3882.
...here, and once I was 100% sure it should have it I pushed back heavily and finally obtained a fully functional MY20 with PCM SW v3885 (max version on a J1.1).
I've had in 6 months extremely few software/GUI problems compared to all I read here (just a very few hickups that never lasted long)...
...all that together has to be certified for a specific model year. Therefore, if you want them in the US, this can only be done for a cost with me having it done on the J1.1 and very happy about it and I know of one J1.2 owner who enabled them by the same coder on the HD version of the headlights.
...and keep this beautiful line :)
I was looking at Panameras lately, I still prefer my T J1.1 Turbo but it's not that far, I could probably live with a new version 100% electrical inspired by the Taycan, more space, more confort, that's what I'll be looking for !
Unless I sign up a Cayenne...
