My 2 weeks of Taycan review: The Good and The Bad

I would disagree with this theory as the auto regen is defaulted to on for Sport and Sport PLus settings and defaulted to off for Normal which contradicts the theory of wanting it feel like an ICE in sports driving. I feel that if in a menu screen I chose an option I expect it to remain there...

My 2 weeks of Taycan review: The Good and The Bad

My previous car was a LR discovery with same software and app as Jaguar. Equally awful and unusable. I was so looking forward to being able to pre cool and heat my car with this ew Taycan (something on the LR that worked 1 in 5 times) Sadly its as bad as LR.

So Ive had the Taycan for 2 weeks and heres my thoughts so far : Im starting with the bad because thats whats tempted me to post: The Bad : The connect App totally sucks. I cant log in most of the times and the functionality is completely pants. Im missing 20 odd services that the car is...

Customized Look for 20" Taycan Turbo Aero Wheels for $25 - What do you think?

Im pretty sure I will get this done. Thanks for the great Idea. I will take it to my local wrapping guy to see if that will do it as a temp version. Dont want to do a permanent thing in case it affects the GFV when returned to Porsche

    UK Taycan Insurance

When I input my details i chose the no tracker fitted option, which also saves the Porsche/Vodafone fee. I had one before and always forgot the tracker tag and it was infuriating.

Anderson Charger - Stuck at 3.7KW

No. That was the porsche charger at home. This is the anderson charger at work. There is nothing wrong with the installation of either system. My company are in the construction industry and have vast experience of electrical installations.

Anderson Charger - Stuck at 3.7KW

Does anyone else have the Anderson charger. When I first used it it was stuck at 3.7KW charging rate. A quick help chat with anderson and they remotely configured the unit and it went to the expected 11KW. I was happy. Today I have plugged in and its back to 3.7kw. Another online chat with...

    Charger Problem

This charger only pulls maximum of 10 amps as its plugged into UK domestic socket outlet which isn't huge and is on a protected circuit. I find it strange that it would even start if it feels there is an earthing problem. This happens after several hours of charging. Will get it checked but I'd...

    Charger Problem

So after a few hours of charging from domestic standard 240v outlet (UK) with the supplied porsche charger it keeps stopping and delivering this message. My 7KW home charging point isn't installed till next week so this is my only current solution, so its frustrating to say the least. Whilst I...

    Home Energy Manager

As in it controls the cars on board charger ? That would make more sense as I have no requirement to control the output from my mains supply Ian

    Home Energy Manager

My Taycan 4s arrived yesterday and I'm having charger installed at work and home. I have an Anderson EV 22kw at work (i know mimy car is 11kw) and a 7 kw charge master at home that was previously at work for my Cayenne Hybrid. It was highly recommended by my OPC to get the home energy manager...

    U.K. Launch/Deliveries pushed back?

I have read elsewhere that the current Taycan cannot take onboard charging at 22KW which is a shame as my main charging will be at work utilising the 2 phase supply
