Does anyone actually charge to only 80%?

In winter when the car sits on a timer for heating every morning i have charge goal on 70%. The car will over charge a bit, typical 6-8 amps, to be able to heat the battery and reach charge goal (the heater can use more energy than my 30amp c.). So since i charge it daily or every other day...

Cross Turismo Turbo S vs. Moose

yes. Hydraulic dampers that increase pressure on the outside dampers in a turn. Make it super stable. sportcar dont do super well in this test. They are looking for differen traits in the handling of the car. Its the opposing turns that upset the balance of the car. You seldom have this setup...

Strange Sound when doing approx. 60-80 km/h

No, but was thinking to take a trip to the dealer and ask them to look at it. I think its normal, but i dont want to be stranded somewhere either. My humming starts in 1 gear at 78km/h and dissapears at 90 or when switching to second. As you said, range mode opens the clutches in the rear...

    Transmission noise at 50mph / 80kph?

Electric engines has/had a trouble with keeping very high rpms and still give a lot of hp/torque. This was until tesla revealed the plaid, which uses a carbon sleve around the stator, amongst other things, to deal with the forces of spinning the engine at veeery high rpms. Usually, you would...

Do you have a pano roof?

I am Norway. Similar weather i would presume. I have the pano roof. I think the car looks better with the metal roof. from the drivers position, i neither see or think about the fact that i have the pano roof. I never look up when driving the car (go figure) the kids in the back get a much...

    Winter driving

Think i got the acc warning twice the last winter (Trondheim Norway, whole season). A bit of sound from the front motor if its not sufficiently heated when its -22 celsius. (Goes away fast, heating the battery/car also warms the motors, just not as early). Except from that, nothing to mention...

    Using keys to close windows

One-touch window closing is called "express-up" in regulatory language, and is regulated because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is concerned about arms, legs or necks getting stuck in windows that go up by themselves. In 2011, NHTSA noted that carmakers selling in this...

Which is better lowering links or Cete lowering device

Do you want the original height for driving on bad roads or similar? The cete gives you the option of just adjusting height in the lowest setting, while the lowering links will get you the same deop in all «heights». And the lowering links are 1/10 of the price i belive.

Is using brake regen more efficient?

I am gonna leave the discussion here, but for others that may find this thread and trying to find knowledge: The gass pedal release regen is not as powerfull as for instance the teslas. But it will brake your car, and that has a theoretical impact on range. The mild regen will brake your car...

Is using brake regen more efficient?

Not totaly sure i understand what you are trying to communicate. But: From a efficiency standpoint regen is super nice for stopping a car. The alternative is to use the brakes, they will just take your nice energy and give it away as heat to the atmosphere. Again, from an efficiency...

Is using brake regen more efficient?

Physics. Regen is not 100% efficient. There is a relatively high loss when converting the (potential) energy of the moving mass of the car to energy in the battery. So when braking (with regen) and then later accelerating, you will have a substantial energy loss in each operation. And then it...
