    Variable light roof

I am aware. More interested in whether those in hot weather conditions find the pano roof more/less comfortable in combination with the insulated glass. The pano roof is generally std in the US….the only thing we can choose is the insulate Helpful context. Thanks for sharing. I opted...

    Variable light roof

Thanks for the feedback. I don’t have my Taycan yet…still a Pan ST for now with a big glass roof. I live in the Northeast but I don’t think it gets too hot either. Hoping that it’s not an issue on Taycan since there is no sunroof 🤞

    First Service

Porsche seems to engineer their cars to extract high maintenance costs from its customers. I had brake pads replaced on my Panamera for $2000 earlier this month. I am still livid. If this had happened before I placed my Taycan order, I likely would not have purchased it. I will be on the...

Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 ePerformance EV

Very much agree. The sound in the 2nd movie is a reason not to buy a sports EV. I am guessing that they would fix. It’s terrible.

Base Taycan is best - Road & Track review

I posted that 718 EV post yesterday. Clearly Porsche knows how to do a RWD high performance EV. They are saving it for other models.

Base Taycan is best - Road & Track review

I agree with this. If Porsche made the RWD a GTS with more power and a bit lighter, they could have charged even more for the “driver’s car” and it would possibly be the pick of the litter.

Base Taycan is best - Road & Track review

Porsche should have made a RWD GTS that is both fast and light (including an ST version). This would have been the best of all worlds. I like the current RWD model but it just isn’t powerful enough for such an expensive vehicle.

    Help buying slightly used Taycan

If you are purchasing from a Porsche dealership, then buyer be ware! A current model year should easily qualify for CPO. If not, there is typically a reason. It’s worth finding out why before proceeding. A Mfg CPO stamp is a way to vouch for the vehicle’s pedigree. Sometimes they will...

    No more Monkey Butt

Agree. I like the current rear end but this is potentially an opportunity for the mid-cycle refresh. Very difficult to make an aftermarket mod that improves on Porsche design. They should take this on.

    Back seats 2+1

Yes. I have it in my current car. Useful at times.

    Back seats 2+1

That’s a staggering amount for a relatively small feature. I ordered it but not for resale…just convenience.

Spec'd up 4 CT vs minimal options 4S CT - thoughts

I ordered a CT 4S knowing that I only needed a CT4. I did so because I wanted to avoid 2nd guessing later….not because of anything specific that the 4S offers. I think I also like that as you go up in the model range there is generally a little more exclusivity. If a CT4 with more...
