I wouldn’t recommend lowering with links unless you’re comfortable with hitting bump stops while driving. I ended up staying stock and avoiding the lowest ride height setting to keep bump compliance in check.

Factory tubes look to be about 1/4” thick - those fasteners would go before the bars would deform :) edit: 1/8” thick. Still beefy

I’m in for a set. I’d love to see a way to lock the 1up rack to the rail extensions. On my other EV that has a rack like this, I used lockable ball-lock pins. This would allow for a lock to be routed through the bike and down to the rail to keep the thieves at bay.

That’s your self leveling suspension releasing air. It’s pretty loud with the back seats down in mine too.

This is way better than the OEM rack, coming from someone with an OEM rack. I might just sell mine and make one of these instead. Looks nice with the anodize on there too!

Very poor, you can see a couple feet back underneath the rack

My photo above is 29x2.5” - it looks like any tire should fit, even a 4+” as the straps are super long. The tire being wider than the channel doesn’t appear to be an issue at all.
