I'm from the UK and have lived in the US for over 10 years. Still weirds me out when I hear people refer to camping in a car.
To me, camping will always be strictly tents.
OP - where in KY are you? I'm Northern.
I totally understand that comment for sub-urban America, but RAS is still very useful here. Great for u-turns and urban parking.
(I'm a Brit that travels globally extensively in Europe and Asia - so have a strong feeling for tighter maneuvering).
RAS all the way for me.
Thanks! I used "Plasti-dip" paint, so easy to reverse.
I had the local Sherriff tell me that all he cares about are the unique plate characters. He said coal doesn't give his department any money, so it's not his job to enforce me removing it :)
I guess my approach is much more tactical than...
My homelink comes on when I approach home. I then press and all is good.
It used to come when I was leaving the garage (super annoying as it blocked the camera), but now it doesn't come on as I'm leaving and pull away
UV. That's my topic. I'm Past President of the International UV Association (yes there is such a thing).
Some keys points (because I'm a nerd)
- UV is technically not light. It's not visible to the human eye. "UV photons" would be a more precise term
- UV is divided into different categories...
I run an engineering/manufacturing company that ship around 500,000 products per year across multiple product platforms, so we have a whole process for ECNs (Engineering Change Notices). We take multiple inputs to that process: end-user feedback, distributor feedback, production...
I expect that they compile such feedback into a database and then aggregate total responses before prioritizing actionable items. Certainly what I do in my company.
Very hard to make Engineering Design Changes based on a single-datapoint-feedback.
All good suggestions though imo
Dropped mine off this morning. Tech said that I'm the 5th they will do. Said the first two were a nightmare, but that Porsche has new install software that made the next two much easier.
We shall see....
