2021 Taycan in Chalk color - first pictures

Found another MY2021 car with the new and smaller 6 pistons caliber on the PSCB. And the second picture is the MY2020 version. One positive thing with the 2021 version, besides being 11 kg lighter, is that it somehow looks more balanced in terms of proportions. That said, big calibers is...

No more finger prints! - Idee Miller

I’m thinking about getting a bigger screen protector so the entire glass is covered - shown with a blue marker. Can anyone help with the dimensions?

    18-way Sport Seat & 4+1

Strange... would be interesting to hear what the dealer has to say about that. An off topic question: did you get the PSCB? If yes, can you post some pictures?

2021 Taycan in Chalk color - first pictures

Yes I’m aware of that. 10 pistons to 6 pistons. But at least the disc remains almost the same size, going from 415 mm to 410 mm. My comment was whether anyone have seen other real life pictures of the MY2021 PSCB? Maybe the big disc helps so the brakes still looks better than the standard red...

2021 Taycan in Chalk color - first pictures

Agree. The PCCB looks awesome, especially in yellow. If I had a higher budget, I too would have made the upgrade. I will have to settle with the white PSCB and just hope that they still look good despite of the smaller calipers.

2021 Taycan in Chalk color - first pictures

Have you even seen more than the one photo of the MY 2021 PSCB? The disc is give and take the same size (410 mm compared to 415 mm) so it is only the brake caliper that are a bit smaller. I found this picture of a black version of the PSCB on a MY 2020 Turbo. From this angle it also looks...

    21” winter tires?

Any one with experience from other Porsche cars know, if it’s a problem having a open wheel like the 21” mission e as a winter setup? We rarely have snow in Denmark - normally just rain and some ice on the roads.

2021 Taycan in Chalk color - first pictures

If 6 pistons is more than enough on the Turbo (with PSCB) why do you still need 10 pistons on the Turbo S? (with PCCB)

2021 Taycan in Chalk color - first pictures

Yes, but the front disc on the 2021 model is supposed to have almost the same diameter as the 2020 model, only loosing 5 mm going from 415 mm to 410 mm. So maybe it’s just the angle of the photo? Still very disappointing that the calipers are smaller. One advantage of having the 2020 instead of...

Need your input - which winter wheels for my turbo S

Is it 21”? If yes, which winter tires are you planing to use? And has Porsche approved a set of 21” winter tires? I heard that the Michelin Alpin Pilot 5 should be ok to use on a Taycan, but am not sure that Porsche has officially approved them.

Is anyone driving a Taycan without Rear-Axle Steering?

Do you also have PTV+ and PDCC? Those options also adds to the driving experience - especially in corners.

21” mission e as winter wheels?

I was told that on the 21” mission e and 21” exclusive design, that Porsche has approved the 305/30/21 and 265/35/21 Michelin Alpin Pilot 5.

21” mission e as winter wheels?

Hi, anyone have or consider using the 21” mission e as winter wheels? Given we have mild winters here in DK, I think it will work with the open wheel and wide tires. Only concern would be if the wheels and PSCB will be damage due to the salt on the roads?

    Tinting Windows

I’m also aiming for a discrete 50% tint for the back side windows and maybe a darker 35% for the rear window - or 50% like you. Can you share some more pics from different angels? It’s a bit difficult to see on your current picture. Thanks

    Accidentally upsold myself!

Well... it all comes down to your budget and how much you are willing to spend in order to get a bit faster acceleration and some minor front/rear styling differences. In my case the difference between my ordered 4S+ and similar Turbo was 45k $, so that was simply too much for me to justify...

Also consider Adaptive Cruise Control. I think it is a must when driving on the highway/motorway and if you get that option you can always upgrade to Innodrive through FoD service.
