  1. Front Camera Error leading to other errors

    Try washing the car.
  2. Trip Report: my first relative long distance trip - about 350 miles

Slowing down can actually be faster if it avoids extra stops.
  3. Taycan Electric Sport Sound, does it really affect range?

Porsche engineers have pointed the speaker so it faces rearwards and provides thrust, negating most of the electrical losses.
  4. New tyre tread depth?

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?tireMake=Pirelli&tireModel=Cinturato+P7+Blue&isSEO=true European version may be completely different. And in mm:).
  5. New “My Porsche” app (6.0) released

My guess is ignore the 36psi and follow the +1.4. One is psi display and one is differential. Don’t follow psi.
  6. New “My Porsche” app (6.0) released

The system does use temperature. So while the psi may be the same one tire could be hotter and requires more air to compensate.
  7. Giving up my GTS order arriving next month

When I go out and commit crimes I tend to leave my phone at home so the police can’t track me. Plug and charge gives me a roughly 200 mile radius to commit crimes
  8. Giving up my GTS order arriving next month

Plug and charge at Electrify America I think is a big one.
  9. Using a 3rd Party Home EV Charger Compromises Warranty? Updated response from PCNA

Not when quoting Porsche. If they quote charger then they are factually wrong.
  10. Using a 3rd Party Home EV Charger Compromises Warranty? Updated response from PCNA

Let’s be clear here. The charger is in the car. Nobody has ever used a non-Porsche charger.
  11. Opinions about wheel and brake color on GTS + Mission-E's

Black calipers if you’re serious. Red is acceptable, yellow belongs on Ferraris, and blue is for BMWs. White is for posers in Mercedes and drug dealers in Range Rovers.
  12. 100,000th Taycan rolls off the production line!

There is a lot of demand because 60,000 of them have battery problems and 1000 of them have burned.
  13. 100,000th Taycan rolls off the production line!

Celebratory vibe surrounds the Taycan: production anniversary and kilometre kings 08/11/2022 The Taycan has reached some important milestones since its production launch in September 2019. On 7 November, the 100,000th Taycan rolled off the production line. The milestone car left the assembly...
  14. Cooling Modifications Experiment for the Track: more air flow through radiators to keep battery temperature down

I think what you describe would be almost impossible. The cells all need to be drained equally or else the battery will become unbalanced. And as far as I know without careful human intervention the whole pack will then only charge to the voltage level of the pouch with the lowest voltage...
  15. Interesting - Monterey Porsche has Fast Chargers

It’s nice they didn’t stick them in the middle like Electrify America does.
  16. Cooling Modifications Experiment for the Track: more air flow through radiators to keep battery temperature down

This is all speculation, but to keep an equal amount of power to the motors requires higher amperage as the battery voltage drops. The battery voltage drops no matter what, it’s what they do to provide energy. Higher amperage means more heat. Also notice the cooling pump seems to not be at...
  17. Cooling Modifications Experiment for the Track: more air flow through radiators to keep battery temperature down

Test with gurney starts at 100%battery charge and without starts at 50%? If so that alone may explain any difference.
