Looks amazing! Just downloaded, once i get the issue resolved of why my car isn’t talking to the app or Porsche network apparently, I’ll start trying to get full use out of the app. Thanks for making this!
Having the same problem. My car has not checked in since March 8. Tried reinstalling the app but no joy. Car seems fine but I can't get it to check in. The my Porsche website is getting same results, no info since March 8
I had the Pilot 4S tires on mine and about 36k miles in 2 years is what i got on them. I like to speed, but I mostly daily drive to work where i really can’t get up to too much with traffic and not many twisty roads in my vicinity. I bought another set and put them right back on there.
The only chargers in their network equipped for high speed are in NY and CA as of right now. Hopefully they will expand to other areas soon. That lock symbol means the charger (which would only be a L2 charger) is in a gated area, not for public access.
Very glad to see this as another option to charge! I got the 400v booster so this will be very much an option if it comes to chargers along my routes. EA has by and large worked for me, with a few big hiccups, but I’ve used Tesla SC before and their stuff just works. Looking forward to seeing...
Have you tried reporting these stations to EA? They get BLASTED on their social media posts about sites not working properly, but they always reply to the people and ask what specific station Is the problem. Some people reported better results after they notified EA and a tech was out there to...
As a cyber person with some software assurance background, preach brother, preach!!!
As an owner of the vehicle, OP and all you devs in here doing this stuff, you guys absolutely rock! Thanks!
There’s locations in CA open now as well as NY, but VERY few overall right now. I’ve seen and talked to folks who have charged with Lightnings, Bolts and the Genesis SUV. The cords fit barely, but you pretty much have to park to the right or left of the charger you actually want to use. So Tesla...
Fully agree on the efficiency. Had this car for 2 years and about 38k miles and I’ve experimented a lot with the regen, auto regen and coasting and the coasting is by far the more efficient way for this car to drive. I like the regen/auto regen when going downhill, especially behind slow traffic...
Install was very easy! I drive my car every day. Got almost 40k miles on it, so i leave it in the medium power setting. You should be fine with it in low. I’m very glad they gave different modes for different situations.
After a day of driving, i so far don’t think it’s too obtrusive at all. You get used to it up there and don’t notice after a while. We’ll see how more time does, but i like it so far.
I put it off center to the right on purpose. I didn’t like the way it sat centered. Felt like it might be more obtrusive centered. I don’t think it sits up too much, but I’ll be driving it this evening, so I’ll find out how it looks in a bit.
Here the camera is installed. I haven't driven yet, but it will definitely take up some of my view, but we'll see if it is too much or annoying in time. Works as advertised so far. Not the highest of resolutions but not bad either. I'll update as I get more time with it.
I tried when I first got my Taycan and that cord definitely does not reach. I had to park sideways, taking up 2-3 chargers to get it to reach. They are going to have to do something aboup that to make this work.
