Hey everyone, figured I'd post this here in case people are considering trading in their Taycans for something else. While I absolutely love my Taycan turbo s, I'm itching to get a 911. My Taycan was a $210k car 11 months ago when I bought it new. 6,800 miles and it's in mint condition. I was...
Update on my end. Plug & charge started working fine all of a sudden about 4-5 weeks ago. I havent tried initiating a charge through the app since the last time I had an issue. I haven't changed anything on my end to get P&C to work -- confirmed that everything was activated properly and set up...
I called them again this morning just for the hell of it to see if the customer support folks had any clue what was actually going on here. He first told me to "check to see if plug & charge was checked off". After I told him it had nothing to do with plug & charge, he pretended like he knew...
No you’d just save 5-10 mins by calling them and getting it approved on the way there. Then when you show up to the charger (while they’re on the line) you just give them the charger number and they activate it then for you. Either way it’s still super frustrating.
Could probably do that. Still have to read them your VIN # so they can get the free charge “approved” before they do it. Either way it’s a pain in the ass, but calling ahead of time would help.
yeah I'm pretty sure I did this. Just to confirm, where exactly did you "purchase" it? When I go into MyPorsche app and click on "Account > Charging Service", it shows that I have an active subscription from 12/14/22 - 12/4/23. Do I need to activate/purchase it somewhere else too?
Aside from P&C, were you able to manually initiate a charge at an EA station through the Porsche app before? I haven’t even been able to do that. My car is a month old and had the latest software update before I picked it up mid December.
Yes it’s activated and set up properly. Porsche and EA claim it’s a known issue affecting a lot of people and they’re working on a fix. Curious if anyone else is experiencing this too. I’d always get an error on the EA screen when trying to use plug & charge so I tried turning that off and...
I’ve had my ‘22 Turbo S for 5 weeks and haven’t been able to successfully charge (on my own) once. In the Porsche app I get a “server unreachable” message anytime I try to initiate a charge on a specific charger. On the EA side I can initiate one manually if I want to pay (which is dumb). I’ve...
