@Bresdo1962 As others have said, if you enjoy driving the Taycan and want to keep it, get it into your dealer and let them fix it. No car today is going to be perfect, or suffer from zero issues.
Even old cars back in the 60's had carburetor, rust, points and distributor issues. Today's cars...
Thank you @daveo4EV Couldnt have done it with the advice from you and others on this site, and the links to the video from Sandy Munro and JW Shaw. Definitely worth doing right.
I have already seen posts about a major insurance company refusing to give an existing customer a new policy for a Taycan, claiming it is too expensive to repair. We have had no issues with ours, but as EV adoption increases, and have no doubt, with all the billions being invested by auto...
Exactly. The Tesla gets much less than the advertised range, and in fact the company is being sued for exactly that, and for intentionally manipulating the software to hide the actual, much lower range. Whereas the taycan gets much, much greater range than the EPA estimate. We charge to 80%, and...
Thanks for watching and for your support! I initially ordered the Tesla charger, per your recommendation, but switched to a ChargePoint setup (photo is seen in video). I think the most important point was having a proper installation. I hired the electrician we have used for 11 years, who is a...
Hey fellow Taycan fans! I think many of you will find this video of interest. You can click on the link at YouTube to be notified when it debuts this Friday morning. This is the first video in a series documenting and reviewing this heavily optioned 2023 Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, taking...
@JacobDK That is a real problem if the parking brake cannot be deactivated. Porsche is such a performance and track focused company, I have a hard time believing Porsche would not have some provision built in, because after driving on track, the parking brake CANNOT be used and the driver...
@JacobDK I have a question for you. When tracking your Taycan, how do you prevent the parking brake from activating when you put the car in Park? Thanks
You are being lied to by your dealer. Porsche does NOT change dealer and customer orders, other than adjusting YOUR order due to parts and option changes. The dealer swapped your car to the other buyer. And contrary to what others āfeelā, PCNA cannot and does not control this or other dealers...
PCNA canāt and wonāt do anything. Dealers are independently owned and operated businesses, protected by decades old franchise laws. Meet with the GM
Sorry, I just couldnāt care less what other people think. I buy what I want, for me. They have no say and no impact on my happiness or enjoyment. We have a 3 car garage and 3 Porsches- 2011 911 GTS, 1985.5 944 and 2016 Cayenne S (which will be replaced by the Taycan 4S TC) Frankly the few...
I believe the one that counts is the one you circled. The other one could just be what YOU were speccing yourself, on the configurator. Please let us know what turns up and Iāll do the same
