I’m sorry to hear about your situation and the inconvenience. I was just gone for three weeks and hooked my CT4 up to a trickle charger to reduce the chances that the 12 volt would die. As an experiment, I left the vehicle unplugged from the wall charger and I checked a few times and saw that...
So, when I switched from my J1.1 Taycan turbo sedan to my current J1.1 Taycan CT4 I wanted to carry over my 20-inch Taycan turbo aero winter wheel-and-tire set. Under the Tequipment website the winter turbo aero wheels are listed as compatible with the base, 4S, turbo, turbo s, GTS and GTS ST...
Setting aside judgement on what version looks better. I'm leaning toward the explanation that this was done to create exclusivity between the trims. It's interesting that on the base, 4 or the 4S you can't option a sport design package to create the look of the turbo or turbo s even if you...
Haha, I get it! We’re car folks. It’s silly, but sometimes it’s about more than the car itself. For me, after years of following development of the Taycan, my original Taycan was like seeing a dream come out of a poster and into my driveway. It marked the start of my family and breaking through...
Alright, I just emailed the GM at my dealership and he said discontinuation of the CT/ST versions would be news to him. All the communications he’s been receiving indicate the CT/ST will continue in production. He did confirm what you guys were saying about the Panamera ST.
Anyway, that’s good...
I would be very sad if this were the case. I hope it’s not. When I read a recent press release from Porsche it said they were conducting tests on all variants for the refresh so I don’t think the CT and ST will be completely killed, but who knows for the NA market...
The icons are back in my app, but I couldn’t climate control the vehicle this morning before my work commute. Annoying that it has become a bit more hit or miss now that we’ve moved into winter up here. Overall, it still seems to be as variable as it was compared to my first 2020 Taycan. Sad to...
Double car wash from the other night. I guess I’m a man of blues! My 911 T is shark blue and the CT4 is neptune. I enjoyed this picture because it highlights the differences between these two very fun colors.
Side note and minor plug for ceramics: my 911 had Adam’s advance ceramic on it already...
Too funny. I’m sitting on our porch with a glass of wine and decided to count the panels—42 my friend 😂. My wife reminded me we added onto the original panels a couple years back so I’m the one with faulty math! My bad.
A quick dog test fit—just need to tuck that big nose a bit, lol. Haddie, the old girl, is an 85 pound bernedoodle, currently in shaved and non-shaggy form. Mac, our boy is a bit bigger at 90 pounds, but I think they’ll both fit. I am planning on ordering the reversible mat with the loading...
Great question! I did 20% for the rear windows and 50% on the front windows. In Minnesota our limit is 50% but I think the CT4 will get away with it since it gives off wagon/cross over vibes, haha. I had a silver car years ago with 30% and really got beat up by the troopers here because of it!
Thank you very much! That is our solar system and it’s 10.2 kW with 32 panels. We originally put it in around 2017 and it’s done around 76 MWh so far. Enough for a few solar powered joy rides!
Unfortunately, that picture was from my sales advisor so I haven’t yet seen it in person. Very cool that you guys have one incoming as well! Is it supposed to be at the dealership? Gentian will look fantastic!
I have finally received proof of life of my CT4. She’s a filthy animal—as she should be for a cross turismo and as one would expect after serving a two month port of Emden jail sentence, lol. It’s all good as this version of the Taycan will see heavy duty cycles transporting children and dogs...
My CT4 hit the dealership yesterday, July 8th. It arrived at port Houston on July 3rd and left port on July 5th. Bit more waiting before I get to collect the car since my work schedule is locked down for the next two weeks, but happy to see it finally arrived at its destination. I have some PPF...
