1000000% the Taycan. I have a carerra white Taycan 4S with Mission E wheels in black with white body colour- and there hasn’t been one day where someone gives me the headshake, thumbs up, jaw drop, asks me for a video or photo. I’m coming from a 2022 BMW M4 competition and I got attention- a lot...
I know this is an old thread but as soon as I purchased my Taycan I complained about the brakes to the point where Porsche replaced the entire brake pads and rotors at no cost to me. I’m still waiTong on the brake hose recall. I’ll be the last as my car is a 2020.
Good on you Clive for letting...
You could also lease a used one for a year and see if you like it. Many of my friends have done this. After a year, you can make a decision - and you don't have any depreciation to worry about
I bought my Taycan when it was 3.5 years old and I beat most - if not all the depreciation. I love the car - and so does everyone else! It's a true head turner and I am happy. If I lost 50% more tomorrow, it wouldn't matter because I plan on keeping it for a minimum of 7 years. Good Luck! You...
Does your car have extended warranty? I know a lot of people want that too - problem too is dealers are dropping the price fast. I got a 60K discount by just waiting one year
I recently bought a Taycan but here's the feedback I have received:
1. Taycans are not optioned well - Do you know how hard it is to find a Taycan with Mission E wheels, Adaptive Cruise and Sport Chrono?
2. Charging Network
3. Lower range than Tesla, Vinfast and Polestar
4. In some people's eyes...
Do your brakes need to be changed already or are you just inquiring? I inquired in Canada and Porsche told me 10K but also told me I wouldn't need brakes for possibly the 'life of the car' (140,000 km)
6. Extended warranty options... This particular model is being sold at a non-Porsche dealership and has 7 months remaining on factory warranty. If I wanted to extend this through Porsche (non-3rd party) what is the best (and least expensive?) way to do this?
Check to see if it already has...
I’m so sorry to hear this! Stories like yours make me wonder if I made a huge mistake. I would have waited to get into the 2025 Taycan though. What did you end up getting?
Yup! Bad time. I just bought a 2020 4S and I feel like I stole this car! Literally for $100,000 Canadian dollars! Fully fully fully loaded!! Mission E wheels and all. I hate to hear all the bad things about the Taycan. It’s such a beautiful car. Shame on Porsche… they should be doing more
I am very confused by this post. Can someone fill me in? You have a car under the manufacturer's warranty ie. Porsche correct? Why are you not supplied with another Taycan to drive? I am new here and I swear there were people on this forum that mentioned they always get a Taycan as a rental. Am...
Did I totally miss the horsepower and torque for the other models? Turbo S is now 938 hp - to compete with the model S Plaid - can someone list the upgraded hp of the other models? Curious… Thanks!
I just got my Taycan 5 months ago and I do not feel like I should have waited for the new ‘refreshed’ model. I like mine and the difference is very slight compared with that of let’s say a Japanese car… who knows - maybe we have to see it in person
