Well, my car is back from the dealership and it brakes better than it ever did. There is an absolutely seamless transition from the regen brakes to the disk brakes. I remember when Mark Webber got out of the Mission E 6 years ago and loved the car, but as he walked away he sied to the staff...
My issue with the brake turned out to be the brake servo 9J1614105H. It was repaired yesterday by Porsche Springfield. Actually, the car brakes better than new now so it might have been partially defective from the start.

Thank you for your response. I talked to a tech and became convinced that it wasn't dangerous and until they really figure this out, I'm just going to use the regen button which makes it a lot less noisy and I don't want to have it sit at the dealer for a long time.

I'm wondering if any of you have experienced this. I have a 2020 Taycan 4S with 16,000 miles with all updates. Just before I took it in for the big software update last year my brake pedal began creaking. That went away when I got the update, but now it's back with a vengeance. It happens the...
I don't know how cold it is in Silicon Valley, but the battery needs to be 90 degrees to get a good charge. I recommend you use the "battery saver" charge function. At 30 degrees OAT, I get 100KW all the way up to 90%. Using that function basically gets the same chrge spec in 25 min instead of...
If I were you I would look on the center display to make sure that you're primarily running off the rear at motor When traveling at highway speed 55-65 and around town. Front motor should come on with fairly good upgrade in the road.
What kind of a Taycan do you have?
I completely understand as I have come to know that range anxiety is not the range of the car, it is getting to a reliable high speed charger once you get to low SOC. Francis Energy is the worst I have found. You can look on their app and it won't even tell you if it is operating half the time...
You guys are so fortunate to have a more complete infastructure. It is a real pain to have to use your not so comfortable gas car because the electric one will take three hours longer because you have to go north to go west.

Really weird, with my 4S I'm getting 3.8 miles / KWH over the total 13,000 miles which sounds a lot more than a couple of you. You guys must have turbos or go to the track. Or maybe the ambient temperature makes a lot of difference.
