The profile in the car is not that great, I control it from my wall chargers. You can use a mixture of both, set a wall charger to come on after 12am and stop at 5 am. then set your car profile to start charging at 00:01
there is no winning in this purchase, we buy a 3-year-old product and a replacement is already being worked on when we buy one. We will always lose money in cars. So stop worrying, the cars, the wealth the assets all remain in this world. So enjoy what you have and live the moment you have...
I thought I should have waited for the refresh model, however after seeing it I think the current one is far better looking and 8K cheaper. The Interior hardly changed only the front of the car has changed and made it look a bit boring.
You seem to be an ex-Tesla owner ? I agree with some of the points. Particularly 1 and point 15 and it has to be mounted on the boot lid so it does not get dirty with 2.8mm lens as the current one is so confusing.
I presume the lease will cost you £36000 over 2 years with restrictions on how many miles you can do ? This money is just wasted.
If you bought it through business your tax benefit be 25% depreciation over 2 years approximately 40% you still be better off buying a car in the end it’s yours. IMO
The problem with pcp is the interest amount, when you look at the figure around 30k in interest amount in 4 years in order to protect the residual it doesn’t make sense. Depreciation 50%+30 K interest and others payments, you loose more in my opinion.
I chose hire purchase and paid 50% with...
Thanks for pointing towards ovo, I ran a quote, it is attractive, the down side is you will get expensive off peak energy. I checked with British Gas they offer similar deals however their night rate is 8p in general . All want you to have a smart meter.
Tesla offered to transfer my free charge over to new car but in UK only model 3 and Y are available in right hand. Tesla is a common car now, hence I decided to go for something different and Taycan is a good choice, fantastic to drive, great quality. However it could do with better technology...
My car locks the doors handle retracts but car is not fully locked as you would lock with a Key when it folds the mirrors and alarm activates. I will fully test later
I only charged my car once at Porsche showroom, and it cost me £10.50 for 11Kwh for 16min. I sent couple of emails and answer was there is service charges. Attached is my itemised invoice. I can see on Ionity there is not service charge, so Thanks I will go and try that.
Does Ionity only charge 30P and not any service charges? if they don't then its cheap for on the go charge.
My analysis are purely to understand and shed some light on this, I do have solar energy at work so in summer I probably charge for free.
The way Charging station sell Electricity is to me a bit of con, bit like budget flight where ticket for example is £20 but taxes are amount to £100. The charging station selling KWH at 25p or 30p then charge for 60p+ per minute for using the charger Or if its Tesla they want peak off peak...
This topic may have been covered before, looking for your comments. Also correct me if I am miss calculating.
This is the first time since I have been converted to use EV 7 years ago I have done this calculation. Reason for not doing it as I never paid for charge on Tesla so never knew what it...
I have 21" spider, too much Tire Judder, very annoying. I read somewhere this can be fixed with software, on full lock there is more power to front wheels less on the back. This way car is pulling not pushing.
I couldn't connect to the car this morning when I woke up, app told me privacy mode is activated, quickly checked on the drive, car was there. Got in to the car it connected without any issue. Not reliable connection. I hate to say, Tesla had a seamless connection.
