As you can imagine, I did not get a manual with my PMCC :(
I am just attempting to determine if the recall is supposed to include replacing the longer cable that goes from the PMCC to the vehicle.
Thanks again, all!
Yes, I looked at this... so it looks like the V04015001ML part number is the smaller pigtail piece... not the longer cable that goes to the vehicle as I originally mentioned, correct?
My dealer is telling me my EVSE cable that goes from the unit to the vehicle (long one) was replaced as part of the known recall that is going on... just trying to confirm which parts are which.
Thx,
I heard back from Porsche Corporate... they escalated the issue to Porsche Germany. After waiting a long while, they could not figure it out and told me to take my Taycan back to the dealership again (this will be the 3rd time now!). This is not what I would call satisfaction from a luxury brand.
Thank you for reminding me... I actually did do this, and it made no difference. It's been a couple of months, so just for fun, I will do it again now and report back.
I took my 2023 Taycan GTS into the dealership for some recall work. About a week after that work was completed, my Porsche app showed there was service due "Now" (screenshot attached).
I took it back to the dealership who confirmed there were no outstanding items pending in the PCM. They said...
Older thread here that I am replying to, however, I am having the same issue. Had 20K service done and over 2 weeks later, the "My Porsche" app is still showing "Now" in the "Service intervals" portion of the app (i.e. the screen that appears when I tap the photo of the car off the main...
Has anyone had their B-Pillar cover pop off when getting in or out of the Taycan? I am 6' 3" and still trying to find the best way to enter and exit the vehicle due to the B-Pillar location. I guess I plopped in one time and my hip appears to have popped the B-Pillar cover off. Any...
>>>@RetroQueequeg if you have a 50 amp circuit then why did you set it to 40 amps? I set mine to 50 amps and its is charging at the 9kw rate as before with the Porsche charger. I ordered a new 60 amp breaker and will upgrade my circuit and reset the charger back to 60 amp so I can charge at 10.4...
My daughter has a Tesla Model 3 Highland and I opted for the reimbursement route and picked up the Tesla Universal Wall Charger for home charging (no, I have not actually gotten my reimbursement check, yet, <sigh>). It comes with the NACS to J1772 adapter which stores inside the unit when not...
My WPS9 update was done... I now notice the "engine sound" only comes on in Sport Plus mode... previously, it would come on in Sport mode and then when I switched to Sport Plus, the sound would be more gruff/beefy sounding. Now it's different. Why would a thermal management update have any...
I've had my '23 GTS for just a couple of months. I sympathize with OP's post. To see the new one go 465 miles on a single charge leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth when I struggle with feeling like I'm constantly at a charging station. Mind you, I do drive it like a Porsche should be...
My GTS was flagged for a WPS9 update as well, but the dealership mentioned they had no information on it and as a result, they were not able to complete the update. Unlike Steve above, however, my climate and timers all function just fine via the app. <shrug>
My notes on my invoice:
