I had BMW for maybe 10 years, until about 2016. Then switched to Porsche. To me, there is a world of difference in build quality between the two, BMW not in the same league with the P cars.

At the risk of taking this sideways, a friend just spent 6 mos away, and hooked the 12v on his EV6 to a smart charger. That charger was plugged into a WiFi outlet, and he had it programmed to come on for 3 hours once per week. When he got home car was ready to go, no problems.
