funny thing is. I look forward to recall appointments. They always let me test the new 911s and cayennes. I usually plan my long weekend trips on those appointment weekends. :)
Real talk. Ordered my GTS in 2022. Received it in mid 2023. I believe it was a March build. Been through the various recalls. Not a big deal - it's just a hassle to take time out of the day to cruise over to the shop. But then hey, they got some free coffee, donuts, and snacks.
But...
Front plates are required where I am; however, I haven’t installed a front license plate on my cars for more than 20 years. Only been pulled over once about it and it was because I was originally pulled over because of expired tags on my rear.
Sorry for those of you who have to add the ugly...
Just for reference sake, whenever I switch from normal to sport, my GTS makes a noticeable “click” sound and the car on most occasions will jolt or stuffer briefly. Seems that is normal for most folks. Good to know.
One thing is certain: Tesla has demonstrated that even with cutting-edge technology, a brand can still struggle to establish a strong identity or deliver a truly desirable car. Meanwhile, Chinese automakers have shown that, even when technological advancements are easily replicated, a...
Porsche’s legacy isn’t just about engines—it’s about engineering excellence, precision handling, and relentless innovation. The Taycan proved that Porsche can redefine performance in the EV era, just as they did with turbocharging, AWD, and the PDK—evolution, not extinction.
Good luck. It’s a biatch when it doesn’t line up perfectly. Just be patient. And it’s ok to back out and return those parts if they didn’t build it right. It happens about 30% of the time with those molds. And if it fits perfectly, couple folks over tighten or don’t line the tabs up right and...
Bought ours for $182K out the door. Not a business owner or anyone special. And didn’t think twice about depreciation or how much it should be worth. I found a beautiful car and wanted it. That’s it.
I’ve also been one of the few that has has absolutely zero issues with it. Manufacturer date is...
It wasn’t cheap. About $1500 with tax.
But if you have a carbon fiber equipped Taycan, it is a super nice subtle touch.
Thx to several of you who dm’d me some helpful advice and tips. Much appreciated.
Yeah. That looks like it.
But the blue one is a GTS. Maybe they just had the trim upgraded during build. I should have just done that. Thanks!
but $14K. Pass.
Does anyone know where I can find this particular carbon fiber splitter (not sure if that’s the correct term)?
all the carbon fiber front lip splitters I search for are too bold. I really just want the same stock front lip but in carbon fiber format.

$15,000 for the carbon fiber Weissach rear spoiler. Should I just do it? Before I do, any alternatives I should consider? I really love the style.
But seriously, would anyone pay anywhere close to that for a spoiler? Does anyone know...
Agreed. Definitely overblown on the front fascia. I got the older version and certainly looks nice, but the new one is just a different nice. I like it.
