Between the two original cars, the Turbo (non-S) has rear-axle steering and InnoDrive. The rear-axle steering, IMO, is a must-have. Surface coated brakes, InnoDrive, dash-cam pre-wire, Burmester audio - those are all very nice. In general, I'd rather have a better spec'd Turbo compared to a...
I upgraded from a 2013 Tesla Model S to a 2022 Taycan GTS in February. Here are my thoughts and comments on the transition.
* Charging - I, admittedly, do not have a long commute, so I charge almost exclusively at home. I have free Supercharging on the Tesla, but never really used it. Similarly...
Bought the FitCamX pretty much immediately after buying my car. I was a little wary of the installation, but decided to give it a shot. I'm relatively handy, but not interested in a huge project or possibly messing up my new, expensive car. I watched the installation video before beginning and...
Posted my own 1 month review and read yours here. We're very close in our opinions. Rear axle steering is amaze-balls, and the coated brakes mean no rust or dust. What a car!
Spec it in the configurator. Some of the pics let you see both interior and exterior at the same time. I was hesitant about red leather in my car, but it's not shiny or obnoxious - it's a great color.
Upgraded my 2013 Tesla Model S to a 2022 Taycan GTS about a month ago and wanted to share my thoughts. Before buying the Taycan I test drove a new Model S and a Lucid Air Touring. The new Model S, though the least expensive of the three, and quite fast, skimped on the interior with faux/vegan...
IMO, the two-color interiors look better than this three-color option. I would perhaps consider an exterior-color-matching seat belt over the three-color seats. I DO like the Porsche crest on the headrests, though would do front seats only if that's a less expensive choice.
@taycandaddy, curious to hear about your Tesla -> Taycan transition. What do you like/dislike? For me, the Taycan is a 1000% better drive, but Tesla had the electronics and the UI design down pat.
